I don't always give out a perfect score but this place definitely deserves it. Food was fantastic, service was great, and there was so much to look at in this place.

We arrived at about 4:40 in the afternoon. This was the perfect time as it was nearly empty. Our waitress was very friendly. Big variety to order from on the menu. We ordered the dinner special. Chicken fried chicken with your choice of a side. We chose mashed potatoes. We also got TBC sandwich, and potato wedges. It was really good. We were brought the dessert menu and after a great deal of thought, I chose the salted caramel pecan pie. Sounded so good. Unfortunately it is a seasonal pie. This was not on the menu as such. There were several items they were out of. We decided on buttermilk pie and coconut cream. Great service, good food, and we paid about $30 for 2 meals and 1 beverage. They paid for the pies, since they were out of my first choice. I would come back here.

My first time here with my family and we were all extremely happy with our dining experience! From our awesome server, Brian, who was so kind, courteous and attentive to our needs, to the appetizers, main dishes and delicious desserts, we loved it!!! We will definitely be back again and again!! Thanks again, Brian!! You rock!!

This is easily my favorite restaurant in Huntsville! The atmosphere can't be beat (it is heavily decorated and gives off small town Texas vibes) and the rolls are comparable to Texas Roadhouse, if not better. Everything I've tried here has been amazing.

What an adorable spot! A friend and I stopped by before leaving town to head home. We began with potato wedges topped with melted cheese and bacon (served with ranch for dipping). Those really hit the spot! The guacamole was a refreshing surprise. It's more like diced avocado with onion, chiles tossed with some lemon juice. It's chunky, not mashed. It's really good. For my entrée I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn casserole. Our server said that the corn casserole is spicy. I didn't think so, but I like spicy foods. The chicken fried steak was breaded perfectly. Not too much breading - nice and crispy. It is a very generous portion. I took half of it home. Our entrees were served with a roll. Our server brought us some cinnamon butter that she said is better than Texas Road House. She was right! It was delicious! More cinnamon flavor. Oh, that sweet tea! Whew! IT IS SWEET! But, it is good. It's not like most sweet teas. You get a taste of a particular tea flavor at the end. I don't know what it is, but it's good. (Just remember, it is SWEET!)

Great restaurant with Daily Specials. I had trouble making up my mind on what to have for lunch.
I chose the orange & white hamburger and added jalapenos for $1 with a side of onion rings which also had an up charge.
The jalapeno fig jam & blue cheese crumble really complemented each outher.
I was disappointed that the salted caramel chocolate pecan pie was not in season but the regular pecan pie did not disappoint.
I look forward to coming back.

This was our second time stopping in here to eat. The food is delicious home cooking. The wait staff has always been friendly and polite. The decor is eclectic and cool. We will definitely stop in again when we are in the area.

Chicken fried steak was chewy. I was looking forward to having a nice tender chicken fried steak but I was grossed out. Sent mine and my grandson's back and got burgers. 4.75 for a piece of chocolate pie was ridiculous. Won't go back.

The chicken fried steak is one of the best I've had (and I've had hundreds over the years, haha). I've eaten here about 10 times in past 2 years. If coming on Mother's or Father's day for lunch, get there early or be prepared to wait.

The fried pickles are done quite well and should be tried at least once- quite flavorful and not greasy. I'm also a big fan of their mashed potatoes, which I find to remind me of what my grandmother made when I was growing up (hers were the best, :) ).

Try two times. The pie was good but the food portions are ridiculous for the price. I order pork chops and it was thinnest pork chops ever. Steak was small to on my second visit. And some of the sides definitely taste frozen and not fresh.
