Me and my awesome friend went here for the first time lastnight and everything was 10/10! We both had the Chef’s tasting and we can honestly say this was the best sushi we’ve had thus far. Drinks were superb and the desserts were incredible! Thanks for making our first time memorable!

I sat at the bar on a date celebrating my graduation and had an amazing experience! Carly took care of us for the 3 hours we dined and she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable about every dish and wine, and a pleasure to spend the evening with. I watched her gracefully deal with a difficult and rude guest next to us without missing a beat. She is the epitome of a hospitality professional so I had to give her shout out on here :)

I made a reservation for Monday night. Can't believe when I walked in, it was so loud inside and crowded. And even I late to my reservation, I still need to wait for 20 min to get a seat. I am not sure the staff want us make order slow. Got the water and placed order take 20 minutes since we sit down. Because the menu not easy to discover what is good to try. I ordered two dishes. It took 1 hour to have my second dish. When I finished the first one, I was still need to wait the second order. When I need the staff, she always so hard to find. But she is nice attitude. And I always saw her standing to the next table and chatting with the customers. Is it because that table ordered more food and will pay more tip? 🤔
When I tried to make an order again, the staff told me it wouldn't take too long because the kitchen catch up the order. And after 15 minutes since I ordered the second times, they said I still need to wait 20 minutes more. So I canceled it.
I came in with high expectations but I am not even tried the good sushi enough at there. So I spent 2 hours there just ate two small orders of sashimi.
Good thing I didn't came here as a date.

Loved it. The best sushi I tried, ever. Do not miss it if you are in Houston. Service was fast and the food super tasty. The waiters were kind and competent. The restaurant gets full quickly even duringbthe work week. Reservation is strongly recommended.

We had a great time at Uchi! They were full on reservations so we sat at the bar and had Carlie as our server. The food was fantastic and everything was stellar. Will be back next time we’re in Houston. Highly recommend the Mushroom & Avocado Nigiri - I know it sounds odd to order it at a sushi restaurant but it’s stellar.

What can one say about a perfect anniversary dinner? Frankly, the best sushi I’ve had outside of Asia. Everything was top notch quality and excellent food. Parking is only available through valet. A fantastic experience dining at Uchi and I would recommend it for sure.

We have been blessed many times with just the warmest, most hospitable and respectable encounters with Han. Since 2016, my and my then-boyfriend, now husband have had nothing short of well taken care of services. From our dating anniversary to now bringing my parents here (all the way from Malaysia), Han keeps delivering and have our jaws dropped every time. His gestures of even just making sure our teas were still hot meant the whole world to my parents who deeply connect to Asian culture/mannerisms. No words. Uchi, you have to protect Han at all costs!! Also, restaurant manager embraced our feedback very gracefully and respectfully regarding some food issues. Really, really, respectable and SPECTACULAR team (and food of course), my favorite restaurant of all time!!

League of their own is best description I can give-I sat at the sushi bar solo on a Saturday evening. Made a rez to ensure I was in.. Big Chief Santos sushi chef & server Nicholas gave me a level of exemplary service and provided me with above and beyond an experience surpassing any expectations I might’ve had…which I didn’t bc I didn’t have a clue of what I was getting into. 😬
The only concern I have is “it doesn’t get any bettah then this…”
Just a suggestion to the OverLords.. of the Uchi tribe but—-uhhh 🤗🫢🤠…Opening a location in N’awlins area would rock the Big Easy BEYOND any sushi joint we have there right now..peace out from the Bayou Country 😇🙏🙏🙏

My husband and I had an amazing night for our anniversary here. We did the chef omakase which is basically a tasting menu. Everything was exquisite. Anthony was very nice and made us feel very welcomed. The sushi would melt in your mouth; it was so delicious. I can't wait to come back here
