They were short staffed on Saturday and they were still very very quick and friendly.
I have never seen employees who were sooo busy still taking the time to make sure tables were clean and trash emptied. 100% recommend coming to this coffee shop. The Nutella croissant was delicious

Stopped in for a cup of coffee on a mid-afternoon. Enjoyed a good cup of Joe and the lovely Ambience they offer. The place is clean with a variety of quality Beverages and snacks. Wi-Fi available. I would go back again and try more what they have to offer when I am in the area.

We have taken our new grad nurses here to meet and greet multiple times. Each time we are welcomed, have adequate room, and the coffee and food is always great. Good service and fun place to get to know my team in a unique atmosphere.

The blaring rock music ruined it for us. We were looking for a place to host our monthly group. You don’t expect loud rock music at a coffee shop. Impossible to have a conversation. Other than that we loved the inside. Please please pick better (soft/chill) music!!

Lived in GT before this place opened up. I went here for the first time yesterday when I was visiting and love it!! Best coffee I've had in GT, and their pastries are great too. I loooove the vibe in there. I wish I could stay to get drink here some night

I gave them a hard review because I am diabetic and have to be very careful about heat I eat. They had some protein choices on their menu but they would not honor them and sell them to me. So I tried to order the crustless quiche which is on their menu. They would not make it. So then I tried to order a croissant with bacon and egg no cheese. They could not accommodate that. Then I asked about their breakfast bowl could they not add in the potatoes and the cheese and that was a no. I did order a medium roast drip coffee. The coffee was good. The atmosphere of the place was really nice. A friend and me enjoyed a nice visit and had great internet access. Since I am diabetic and need protein accomodations I will not be going back. However my friend had a banana bread and I believe had the quiche. She seems to really like it.

How is this place still in business!? They can't keep employees, the manager is TERRIBLE, and the drinks and food are below starbucks(and that's saying something). It's time we expect better, and NOT paying 5$ for a frozen jimmy dean sandwich or burnt/dirty tasting espresso drinks. Try 309 or Rivery coffeehouse if you want quality and do lamp post if you just HAVE to be downtown.
Tldr....ewwww, NO!!

BRAND NEW coffee/tea/smoothie/dessert/pastry/tapas/beer and boba spot in Georgetown square! If you're familiar with the area, it's where Cianfrani's used to be, but once you walk in, you won't recognize it at all. The vibe and decor is completely different. It now has a modern, chic and elegant black and purple color way. This place has the most relaxing ambiance. Huge space, lots of seats including sofas and couches and small patio for seating, fast WiFi and an assortment of food and drinks to choose from.
New store so had to try a lot of things. They have amazing coffee including standard drinks and even speciality coffee drinks that can all be ordered hot, iced or blended. I got the vanilla sweet cream latte and it was a perfect balance - not too sweet. Also had their spinach feta puff pastry and meat potato puff pastry which they warm up so it's crispy and flakey on the outside and warm and moist on the inside.
A new item they added are personal "savory pies" (pizzas) that come in Italian meatball, Thai chicken and caramelized onions. This is embarrassing, but I've tried all three now. Italian has a hearty serving of juicy meatballs on top and caramelized onion comes with cheese and arugula and Thai chicken has a sweet peanut sauce drizzled over. All delish and perfect for a lunch or light dinner.
They have ice cream that comes in a scoop
Or you can buy in a donut ice cream sandwich. Also coming soon, craft beers and wines!!! Can't wait for that!
Needless to say, I'm really excited about this place. I'm stuffed to the brim, caffeinated and can't wait to come back again. Check this place out when you're in the area!!

We've been so excited for Black Sugar to open and it was as good as I was hoping! There are soooo many types of pastries that I had a difficult time deciding what to get. I decided on the nutella croissant and it was absolutely perfect! I also got the cloud latte and it was soooo fun! And tasty!
The ambience was super chill and the staff were amazing. I will definitely be back in the near future!

Decided to try this place because of all the good reviews but we were pretty disappointed. Their menu online mentions vegetarian savory pastries, but when we went to order were told that they do not carry vegetarian options, only for the sweet desserts. But okay, whatever, not the first time this has happened to me. My partner ordered a kolache and refresher. Unless we didn’t read somewhere (likely), the refreshers are just soda lol. Like seriously just soda. And my partner’s kolache was still doughy inside with hardly any sausage. Cashier service was also poor and they did not seem interested in actually helping us. Maybe we came on a bad morning or something, but we have definitely been to better spots in the area.
