Black Sugar Caffe

I have been here twice. The coffee is great. But the first time I had an employee that knew his coffee so well I made a confident choice and was happy with my purchase. This time I basically had to squeeze any help or info out of the employee there. I love coffee but I'm not an expert. I barely made it away from their industrial style grinder. I wish their customer service was more consistent.

My wife and I come here once a week for a morning date and it’s always awesome. Good food and great coffee and the customer service is on point as well.

Great coffee and customer service! Recently visited Georgetown and stopped in Black Sugar Caffe for a late breakfast and coffee -- both were delicious, and the staff were very friendly. We also picked up some whole bean coffee to send for a friend. We'll definitely go back the next time we're in Georgetown.

This is the best coffee place. I’ve visited their location in Cedar Park often so I wanted to see their new location. It’s even better! They have additional items on the menu and the baker bakes everything fresh. The coffee, tea, ice cream is amazing. I did notice somethings on the past reviews. Some of the reviews are for the old coffee shop that was here prior to Black Sugar, so make sure to look at the dates or the name the review is referencing. I’m not sure why the system is combining the two companies. The atmosphere is very relaxing, newly remodeled and the staff is friendly. I would give 10 stars if I could. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their shops.

We were excited to try a new local coffeehouse. Unfortunately, we’ll never return. We totally understand a new business “working out the bugs.” After our orders were messed up, employees talking to friends instead of working, and rude service, they get no second chance. After waiting over 10 minutes and watching staff talk to friends, I asked if they could make our order instead of talking with friends. The manager told me, that was a celebrity. I said, I’m your customer!

The cinnamon roll was fantastic and the staff were so kind! The reason why I give it a 4 out of 5 is because my boba was meh. It wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite. I do want to come back and try some of their other items though.

We have been here four times with friends. My tastes are really simple; I like a bold, fresh, drip coffee with milk. I really want to like this place because its local and not a chain but each time I've visited, the drip coffee has been neither fresh nor bold. On the upside, the muffins we had were fantastic and my wife loved her complex fancy coffee beverage.

Cookies the size of your face and cotton candy on lattes?! What could be better?? We love this place!

I got the Mexican Mocha here and was thoroughly impressed with its taste. Everything was super rich and didn't taste like syrups. The espresso also has a really great flavor. Prices are reasonable and the crowd is laid back. Great for working or meeting a friend.
