Lamppost Coffee

This was my first visiting the coffee shop at Georgetown, TX. Beside the spectacular town's downtown, Lamppost is a really a nice place to visit. Even though it is not a luxury place, it is clean and plain. Nice coffee, good attention, and great atmosphere. Good place for working, chatting, or just enjoy a personal moment.

This coffee shop is part of a chain of Lampost coffee shops around town. This location feels new and is bright and spacious in beautiful Georgetown downtown.

- Food - a good set of choices for food and drinks. Had the Lamba Latte (a bit too sweet for me - based on a secret recipe with hazelnut and brown sugar). Some unique bagels like Rosemary Sea salt and standard bakery fare including muffins (vegan options too!)

- Service - Prompt, friendly and courteous. They even pronounced my name right which in itself is a rarity!

- Prices - They were higher than average - $6.30 (with taxes) for a 16 Oz Latte is a bit too rich for my wallet!

- Location / Atmosphere - Beautiful location; Huge shop with lots of seats.

- Restrooms - Spotless, clean and well maintained.

- Etc. - Pets are also allowed.

Overall, great experience but not as much value for the money.

From fermented beans to zebra striped gum flavored drip coffees. The coffee wasn't quite for my taste but they really take a unique approach to flavor profiles and have plenty of space for studying and meeting. Bags of beans were priced higher than usual but you get a free coffee if you buy a bag. Which was a great concept!

I stopped in here on a busy Thursday morning. They offer a wide variety of high-quality coffee drinks and other beverages typical of this kind of establishment..they offer baked goods as well. (I enjoyed a generous slice of lemon poppyseed cake.) All fare is prepared properly and with high-quality ingredients. Staff is friendly and pleasant, and the accommodations are very nice. You have a generous amount of space to find a place to relax and enjoy your cup. Overall, it's clean, it's pleasant and a great place to patronize a local coffee shop.

Great location with plenty of room inside and out. Service line runs slow due to baristas personal chit-chat . Floorboards, doors, windows, door handles need a good scrub. Coffee is average. Overall my opinion is it's over rated... but it's got a great location.

Hours late opening on the weekend not good. Still need to get things done...doesnt matter on the day!!!

Fantastic location and welcoming baristas! It's got a homey feel, so it's a perfect place to meet an old friend, get some work done, and enjoy a quality cup o' bean. Also, whoever's idea it was to put Nitro Tea on the menu, hats off to you!

Im excited to make this a regular stop, especially when the weather cools off and their back patio gets finished!
