Again, it all comes down to the coffee at a coffee shop.

Thus, despite the friendly, prompt service, and the clean establishment, my cappuccino to-go tasted like something on the verge of death which slowly expired in my mouth.

I understand a cappuccino is difficult because of the heat and milk - but it must be accomplished to create a professional product worth purchase.

The interior was rather cold and loud - belying the concrete.

Not worthy of the high ratings...

Very nice corner spot location. Not much room inside and when I visited, there were a good number of guests inside. Seems like a great spot to do work, study , or meet with a friend. Which was my reason for being there. I was super pleased see there were gluten-free options in the menu. A good variety of food choices for a light meal or snack.

Great local coffee shop with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere inside. Some comfy living room style chairs, two large tables for working, outlets for laptops and phones, and some board games you can borrow. They also sell beer and wine here!

Wow.. what a disappointment. I ordered the Nutella croissant, spinach & feta croissant, and a chai tea latte w/ whip cream. The nutella croissant had a chemical chocolate taste and the latte was thick almost smoothie consistency. The spinach & feta croissant was mostly bread and the little ring of spinach fell off my croissant and was hard. Horrible experience! Drink and food I could not finish and now I want to throw up.

Would love to hear the logic behind $.75 charge for a the vanilla in a vanilla latte. Please explain to me how you think a vanilla latte cost almost $7?

I’ve also heard bad things about the owners and the current rating as well as some of the owner responses speak for themselves. We’re surrounded by coffee shops. Two Starbucks and a Summermoon is walking distance (both cheaper)

I was greeted when I entered and asked for the cashiers recommendation. I got the dirty chai which tasted good. Though I waited for a good 5 minutes because no one called out my name or gave me an indication that my drink was ready. So it was at the counter the whole time. I spent an hour or so and the temperature is nice. From the outside it looks very dark, but inside the sunlight shines through. The ambience is a little dull but overall it has a good small business vibe.

Nice coffee and relaxing atmosphere in Black Sugar Caffe. That is all I need. There are super comfy armchairs, and some tables to drink coffee or get some delicious snacks. I like this place and recommend it

The coffee is good. I got a latte with two shots. An additional shot is $2.50 which is high $$. Wifi is super slow. If you're going to do web surfing or work, not ideal. The staff is very nice. The dining room and bathrooms are clean. Overall, nice place to chill, but not ideal for me. Coffee is of average quality. Did not try any other food.

Never knew this cafe was here and now that I know, I'll be back often. The vibe is definitely laid back and awesome. They have wifi and a great selection of beverages and food to choose from. Their flavor offerings are definitely interesting and make me want to try all of them. Great coffee shop in the Cedar Park area.

We usually go on Saturday mornings, and the staff is very friendly and drinks are always amazing. We went on a Friday night and the staff were okay, but the drinks were terrible. Our frappe just tasted like straight up blended milk, and our caramel latte tasted like burnt shots. Very different experiences going during the morning vs. at night.
