My dad and mom told me about this place, mom grew up on the island so she knew about this place long ago. I picked up some cinnamon rolls this morning to share with them at the hospital, this is going to be an excellent treat and I'm coming back to eat dinner and breakfast here! I can't wait this looks really really really good.

Another great local place in Galveston. I’m not sure how I haven’t been here, but I know about it now. :). The challah French toast was really good and the chicken sandwich with that bakery bread bun was terrific.

We were able to be seated really quickly on a monday afternoon. The food was pretty good. I got the barbacoa omelet and the brisket was good but the eggs werent seasoned with salt or anything it seemed like. My girlfriend enjoyed her migas, but the pancake left a bit to be desired. Overall, it was a good spot, but nothing extraordinary on our first visit outside of my girlfriend really enjoyed the starberry butter for the buscuits.

Recommendation from a local that lives down the street, excellent choice and had tomato basil soup, tortilla crusted snapper, crab cakes an shrimp. All very tasty.
Don't forget to stop by the bakery for some take home goodies

Really good but they were out of three of the things I wanted. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon to try it though.
Update* we came back and they had the quiche and cinnamon rolls and they were great! Very happy we came back and they were still available.

Really delicious! Every family member was happy with their choice. The yogurt bowl with fruit and granola was particularly attractive and yummy. Pastry on my ham quiche was flaky and not tough as some can be. I only wish they had a couple gluten-free options, such as muffins, pancakes, etc. We sat on the patio on a comfortable spring morning, and we highly recommend this place.

The sunflower bakery was excellent! I ordered the Oysters Benedict and it was amazing, the fried oysters were so good and the Hollandaise sauce was incredible! I also ordered a white chocolate iced latte with oat milk that was equally as good. Not only was what I ordered amazing, but there were multiple other items on the menu that looked great as well, it was super hard to make a choice! The atmosphere was friendly as well, highly recommend for quality breakfast/brunch!

The food was outstanding! We had great service as well. The decor is darling and they even have a bakery so that you can take some tasty treats with you.

This was a delight to find in Galveston! A relief from the usual fried items, this place had fresh delicious food! We had the migas, steak salad and the kids had salmon with mashed potatoes. The meats were juicy, large servings good prices. I also appreciated that we were served coffee in actual mugs and not styrofoam plastic cups 💕 our server was also very quick and friendly

Delicious, but extremely busy brunch-bakery spot. It is one of the most popular places to get classic breakfast dishes in Galveston. The line is long and they don’t take online or over the phone waitlists or reservations. It’s pretty worth it, minus the expensive fruit and other side orders. They have amazing strawberry butter that is a must try. It’s a loud ambiance so not really a cafe in my opinion, but they have several rooms as dining spots. Overall, a great place to have a family meal or just to grab a bite, if you have the time to wait!
