Because this place is SO amazing there will probably be a wait. After being seated though the service was great and out food came quickly. The hot chocolate is on point. Fried shrimp for breakfast, why not? Never have I ever had strawberry butter b4, OMG, so good!! Definitely 5 stars and will be back next time we are in town

Wife and I shared their big breakfast three eggs three large slices of bacon potato slices that were flavored really well and two large pancakes. And we ordered one coffee and the total was $18.65. it was an excellent breakfast and bacon was wonderful I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Wonderful staff very friendly.

Goat cheese omelette was really good! Breakfast potatoes were good as well. They were out of the bread pudding french toast (at 8:00am), so didn't get to try that. Coffee was just okay, but the mug is cute and holds quite a bit of coffee. Everyone at my table (4 of us) enjoyed our food. We all decided we'd go back when we're in town again.

Totally awesome. Today I had the frittata Marguerite. Totally awesome. An open faced omelette with red potatoes, basil, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese on top. Just delicious. The prices are so reasonable for such a good quality. We love that you can get breakfast all day long.

The service was fine, not very attentive. I ordered their biscuits and sausage gravy, and chicken strips; it was ok, not much flavor. Their bakery on the other hand has a great selection, the ladies working there are helpful and their pies and lemon bars are so good! I’d recommend this place for the bakery but not their actual menu items.

The shrimp omelette is pictured on their menu but not listed, however we were able to order it. The omelette was one of the top five omelettes I’ve ever had. The flavors came together perfectly!! The potatoes were delicious as well. Highly recommend. 😀

We came to Galveston Island for our 10th wedding anniversary trip. We stayed four days. If you're wondering just how good this place is, we ate here for three out of four mornings for breakfast. We ended up enjoying the mugs so much that we bought two of our own. If you need a breakfast joint on Galveston Island, this is your stop. This place is quite literally perfect.

When we would ask people about breakfast/brunch in Galveston, a couple of places kept popping up on everyone’s list. The Sunflower Bakery & Café was one of them and I can see why. They had a beautiful patio space if you want to sit outside and the restaurant had plenty of seating inside with great natural light. We kicked things off with mimosas and some great coffee. This Belgian waffle with berries was light and fluffy. The chicken & biscuits with two over easy eggs was filling and a perfect texture and contrast between the crunchy chicken tenders and the flaky biscuits. However, the favorite that we ordered was the bread pudding, french toast. While it might have been like having breakfast for dessert, it sure was delicious.
