The Sunflower Bakery & Cafe

Stopped here for breakfast before getting on our cruise ship. This place is super cute and so inviting! Our waitress Jennifer was fantastic! Everything was delicious! Even met my Gluten Free needs. Love this place! Will come back next time we’re in Galveston for sure :)

One of the better breakfasts I’ve ever had. The oyster Benedict was superb. Will need to come back when I’m in the area!

Nice place to grab a dessert and chill out with your pooch. The key lime tart was really good. It had just the right amount of tartness and sweetness. My wife got the cheesecake brownie. It was tasty, too.

Super cute restaurant!! Food was great and so was service!! I really liked the GRILLED cinnamon roll and the banana pancakes too! My parents both got Chicken Fried Steaks and they liked those as well!

Such a cute place, we got there around 8am on a Thursday, no line. Place really filled up by the time we left. The grilled cinnamon roll was amazing. Challah french toast was also good, the bread is very sweet already. Don't walk by the bakery case of you don't have self control 😊

Good for brunch but they need a full bar. Wine in a bloody mary is a no for me. The food is good with an extensive menu. I would have preferred a little more attention from the wait staff. We ordered brioche French toast, but it was served with corn syrup syrup. Yuck! We had to wait a long time to ask for real syrup. Maple syrup. It was $5 for a little plastic container. I just wish they would have offered it at the time or ordering. That really sucked. Even though that wasn't great, I would still go back with adjusted expectations and over communication with waiter.

Just came here for breakfast and had the "Migas" plate. Everything was delicious, you can tell that this is a restaurant that not only cares about the quality of its food, but it also uses biodegradable straws and to-go cups. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious meal! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always eat here when we are in Galveston or when we get back off one of our cruises that leaves from Galveston

They have the BEST sausage & gravy biscuits I've ever had in my life! The chives were an added bonus. The strawberry butter was the best of both worlds if you don't want strawberry & glaze all over your waffle. Bacon was cooked to my liking & we got key lime pie, brownie & lemon bar to go which were all tasty. Maria was our waitress and she was super sweet & nice & provided excellent service.
