This is a spacious, hip place to hang out. The bar tender scoffed at me and started to walk away when I committed the sin of trying to order a mixed drink - I hadn't noticed that there were no spirits behind the bar. Beer and wine only! Despite the somewhat rude bartender, I will be back if I am ever walking near the Strand in the evening.

Amazing place. It was my first time there. They had a great selwction of drinks, beautiful art on the wall and a cool vibe. The open Mic, poetry readings were all AMAZING. Will definitely be returning

Cool vibes and great coffee!

The space was actually really nice and seemed like a cool place to hang out and drink but the bartender was very short with me and my group, someone asked for the code to the bathroom and she became upset when he asked he to repeat herself, it made me feel unsafe and unwanted.

The art is always interesting and the craft beer selection is amazing. I typically get draft but they have an assortment of cans and bottles too, as well as wines and sakes. Oh, and Dominique is fantastic :)

Fantastic beer selection in a cool environment. Very friendly bar staff, clean restroom, and awesome art hanging from the wall. Just off the strand you can still take your beer to go. A must stop for any strand bar crawl

Staff are always up for a chat, unless they are busy. Great beer selection, great wine and cocktail selection. Take a moment, however, to view the small gallery on display from local artists.

This is going to be one of my new favorite places to drink . The Proletariat Gallery has a wide variety of wine , mixed drinks and some called mead . This place has a very cool relaxed vide . It is a great place to drink ,hang out with friends or by yourself . The drink I loved was something called mimosa but instead of orange juice they mix it Austin Eastsiders cider and champagne. The bartender was really nice and helpful .

Love the atmosphere and wine list. Also happy that I can get a cup of tea from the large selection. Interesting item-- tea with white port. Didn't know that existed, but was very happy to discover.
