To the owner,
We revisited your establishment and I must say we had a much better time. We sat down at the bar and the bearded bartender was great. We like the way he tells it like it is and the service he gave us was top notch. Another thing we liked was the journals that you could write poems in or draw in, I myself started a drawing I hope to come back in soon to finish. Even though you only have 12 beers on tap what you offer on those 12 taps were all great craft beers and the bottle selection is real good as well. Thanks again for the 5$ token and steering us to your place, we will be back for sure and as you can see I readjusted my rating to reflect our satisfaction.

Nice drink options for everyone from beer and wine too coffee drinks. Good service. A little different vibe that may not be for everyone. Had nude art on the wall and a lot of younger/20 somethings on their computers and iPads. Good location to the strand and between brew tours. Also enjoyed some good 🍕! Second time going here and enjoy their craft beer selection

This is a nice comfortable bar just two blocks off the strand. They have an very nice selection of interesting craft beers and other drinks, so you can bring non craft drinkers. They allow dogs inside so it is a great place to get out of the Galveston heat and enjoy a drink. They do not serve any food. The location is a loft for artists so they feature the local artists work so there is always something interesting to look at. We tend to make it a regular stop when we visit the island.

The espresso chasesd with shiner bock is an exquisite experience second to none.I like to enjoy good coffee and good beer. Had no idea it could happen at the same place...definitely a repeat!

The server with dyed hair and gauges was extremely rude. I was asking her for the code of the bathroom and without even finishing my sentence, she responded with an attitude, “the code is 3041. Did you get that? 3…0…4…1….” She made me feel unwelcome as well as the group of friends I was with. I’m not one to complain but when it comes to treating people with respect, she completely lacked that. We were planning on staying for a few drinks but decided to take our business elsewhere. It says they are LGBTQIA*+ friendly but I did not feel that way. NEVER AGAIN!

Love this place! Clean, bright, best bar staff on the Island. Great selection of craft beers, wine and Sake. They feature Galveston Coffee Roasters Coffee products and local artists. A little something for everyone,of any age

This venue has wonderful community gathering events such as art exhibitions and poetry nights. They have a limited bar selection however have all the staples needed to fulfill guest requests. They also offer wine by the glass or by the bottle, which is rare for a bar without a restaurant, but makes for wonderful outings with groups and friends. The indoor area offers generous seating and patronage is there to socialize and study alike, such a diverse mixture of people located directly under the Artist Lofts in Galveston. The outdoor seating area is an excellent spot to hang out and meet locals and friends in passing as is it is located in the historic district of downtown Galveston. The owner is often on premises and does a fantastic job of engaging his clientele as well as fostering a sense of community and well-being.

A stylish place with art on the walls. Sales lady was not too friendly. We ordered a pepperoni slice. It was partly hot and part ice cold. I'm guessing they use a microwave to heat it.

There are a few reasons MOD Coffeehouse has a line outside versus this place. One of them being customer service. This may be the only place on the island where you get lukewarm chai and cold customer service in 80°F weather in October. Maybe the chai teas were intentionally lukewarm because there weren't anymore insulator sleeves? Maybe rude service because we interrupted her convo with her bff?

4 ⭐s for the community space and artwork
