MOD Coffeehouse

Go here every time I go to Galveston. The barista and male cashier were not pleasant today and could not figure out how to make a cinnamon almond milk macchiato (cinnamon and almond milk).

Nice little coffee shop, It looks like a great spot to study when Covid calms down and they open up, but for now the outside seating area is nice and convenient, I ordered the Honey Bee latte and was surprised by how good it was, I’m hesitant to try new things but the name intrigued me and I can say it did not disappoint! I’ll definitely be coming back to try their other drinks and pastries.

Always a good experience. The drinks are amazing, the staff is friendly, and the patio is a great place to hang out with a latte and a friend.

Best coffee shop in Galveston with wonderful shaded outdoor seating area along with indoor seating. Very creative enclosure for covid at the counter made from salvaged windows. Friendly staff. Located in the historic Pix building. Look for the water elevation marker on the ouside wall from hurricane Ike. It is close to seven feet above the street level.

Love the relaxing atmosphere and general vibe at Mod. The coffees and teas are always great. The staff is always friendly and even patience when everything sounds good and you haven't figured out what you want or helpful when you ask for a drink suggestion for the day's mood. Plus, baked goods are good too!

Great find! One of the few (if not only true coffee shops) that I found on the island. The baristas were super friendly and our order was made pretty quickly. The atmosphere was nice and eclectic, if I had work to do - this would be the place to come! We ordered a white mocha and a vanilla latte. Both were pretty good! We also ordered a slice of banana nut bread that was very flavorful but a tad on the dry side. Overall, great little coffee shop!

Ordered a double espresso and it looked like a single. Brownie was stale and rock hard. Asked for hot water they conveniently forgot until I asked again. Than it was given with an attitude.

Fun environment and beautiful cafe, but the almond milk matcha latte was literally inedible. I had to throw it away, because it tasted like dried rehydrated frosting. I got it to go or I might have tried something else. Then again, I have little trust in a place with almond joy lattes, but if that’s your thing, check it out! Like I said the at least ambiance was wonderful!
