MOD Coffeehouse

Pleasant local cafe in the heart of 'downtown'. It has a surprisingly lovely seating area just out front with lots of tables, chairs, and outlets for studying inside. Near a lot of galleries, antique shops, and touristy things.

We visited Galveston for a family reunion and I was missing the good coffee I was used to back home. After coming across a couple breakfast places with either bad or just okay coffee, I came across Mod Coffeehouse. Absolutely delicious espresso and flavored lattes! Their service was spectacular and their atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. Even their baked goods were great! I made sure to visit at least once a day for the rest of my trip. The only gripe I have (and this gripe is shared with practically every coffee shop nowadays) is if you ask for a cappuccino, you'll receive a latte.

The staff is so friendly and the coffee quality is great. Weather you need to have a meeting somewhere, work on your computer, or study - I highly recommend coming here. The Lunch wraps are also fantastic if you’re wanting a quick light lunch!

Lovely coffee shop with delicious bakery items.

This place is nice! Wish we would have come here years ago to get our coffee fix in the mornings while on vacation.
Even sat outside under the foliage during a quick shower storm and it was great.

Amazing vibes in this place. The decor inside and outside make this a special place around the Galveston Stand area. Stopped here by mistake but it will become a regular coffee stop every time I come to the island.

Laid back and a great experience. Had several different types of coffees and they have all been great. Prices are reasonable also.

Super cute and amazing vibes. Everything is a little pricey but it's worth it. Definitely one of my favorite places on the strand.
