Went for lunch with my work colleague and had a great experience! We had such a great time that we stayed for 2hrs. The service and food was outstanding.

Order 3 different sushi rolls, thai basil rice and the yakisoba noodles for lunch to go. The rice was so bland we couldn’t eat it so that was a waste. We only liked one of the sushi rolls and the yakisoba noodles were decent. I literally wasted $80 and that’s one thing I can’t stand is to waste money on food I can’t eat.

Wow! I came to Musume in July of 2021, my friend and I did the 6 and 8 course Omakase. Not only is the food beautiful and very nicely done, with everything from white soy sauce to house pickles and ponzu sauce, but the plates they serve the food on are elegant. Apart from the sushi/sashimi in Australia, this has been the best experience I've had in the US. Chef Yuki provided an amazing experience, and also added a few of the kitchens tastings instead of just the sushi bar

I love Musume. Before I found this restaurant I had not found sushi that I liked. But the drinks and food and atmosphere is always so nice here. It never disappoints! The Friday night roll is my absolute favorite. I’ve had several menu items and I’ve never been disappointed!

I LOVED Musume! The staff was great ! This was for my birthday dinner and everyone including my hostess , and waitress both wished me Happy Birthday! The food was amazing- pictured below is the Lamb Lollipops, and Picasso roll and California roll. I will say the food is pretty pricey, but so worth it! And after you’re done eating you’re invited to the speakeasy that you can enter through the kitchen- you must have a bouncer lead you there but 10/10 experience! Loved it! Shoutout to Amanda our waitress !

Started with the black cod 🤤 so good! Met the owner he along with every employee was so friendly and knowledgeable! Every dish was great! They even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary! We had the 24 CT gold sushi and others I can't remember, all just wonderful!

First and last time there. The staff was very nice but the quantity of the food is very small (the big plates they have), not flavored. We ordered the Japanese cowboy steak, it was super fatty. The Seabass fish was presented in a broth, it had no flavors, very small quantity to share. The asparagus had absolutely no taste.
The sushi was good though, and the vegetable rice was very good and the only thing in shareable quantity we saw.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! The shiitake gyoza, yellowtail sashimi and Friday night roll were incredible. Bartender and staff are very attentive and make customers feel so welcome! Will be making Musume a regular stop during our trips to Dallas.

Rachel gave the WORST service i've ever had. we had ONE bottle of water the ENTIRE time for 3 people. she did not ask us if we wanted more in the ENTIRE 2.5 hours we were there (the only bottle of water we had and our glasses were empty for more than an hour) she actively checked on the 3 other tables around us quite frequently, the MANAGER was at our table more times than her.

when dropping off anything (if she was even the one dropping it off) would leave silently before we even had the chance to ask for more water or anything else... she would pass by and look at us and keep walking. literally never checked on us. so annoying because she was checking the other 3 tables every few minutes.

after waiting 30 minutes to get her to stop to talk to us to order the dessert it took another 30 minutes to actually get the dessert (which she placed on the table and literally ran away??? tried to ask her for water) we waited ANOTHER 30 minutes for the CHANCE to ask her for the check. that took LITERALLY 2 seconds. just a really disappointing experience for the amount of money spent and even more disappointing watching 3 feet away from us ALL of her other tables were getting awesome service from her. don't think i'd ever come back due to the service received, food was good but not good enough to make up for the abysmal service. ONE regular sized bottle of water for 3 people and did not get asked ONCE in 2.5 hours if we needed more water?! after it being empty and all our glasses empty for more than an hour?!

if you want the same quality sushi for the fraction of the price i totally recommend hungry belly! the service is hit or miss (still leagues better than this) but at least it's 1/2 the price and good quality!

Left this review on Yelp and owner only gave me a snarky response and no apology. Paying around $200 for a meal maybe an apology would be nice vs being blamed for the awful service! Will never ever return here and recommend you do not waste your money when there is the same quality for half the price

GUYS PLEASE VISIT HUNGRY BELLY! TRUST ME. The service is sometimes eh but not as awful as this! Same quality half the price! Don't waste your money.

My husband and I came in last weekend and had an amazing experience. Food was great but service was outstanding thanks to our server Vladimir! He made our night very special with great personable conversation and lots of laughs. He recommended us to check out akai in the the back after dinner and we had a great time. Definitely a must
