Smitty's Cafe and Bakery

Great food. Huge portions. I have tried several different items all were very good, especially notable is the skillet potatoes.

Out of towners.....Amazing place, dont judge the outside, its an awesome spot and the style is lovely inside. Food was filling and plentiful, everything tasted wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful, never saw anyone standing around, never had to ask for refills. 10/5 stars! Def will return when back through the area.

The food here is great unfortunately the service sucks your food comes out in about 10 minute intervals and by the time whatever you've not gotten or requested gets to you (if it gets to you I still have no idea where a side of hashbrowns went that I ended up paying for) you've already finished eating.
Let alone that they stand there watching to see if you leave a tip. There also seems to be poor to no communication between kitchen staff and servers servers don't know what's readily available to serve customers so they take an order that will not be able to be completed (they are always out of biscuits and gravy) then about 3 - 5 minutes later come back and don't even say sorry? But ask you to order something else. Also the baked goods are bad the cupcakes are the worst I came in and got some for my birthday well they sold me old stale cupcakes full well knowing it was for my birthday.

OMG - I can't believe we've waited this long to try Smitty's! The food is SO good and the DESSERT 😍 Try everything! I can't wait to come back.

Food was very good. Service was lacking. Two tables that came in after us by several minutes were waited on before us. Had a hard time getting the waitress attention for a drink refill. Based on the food, I will give them another shot.

The food was mostly good and in ample portions. Our food server was slow, unimpressive and obviously put out when we requested anything. My guess is that she has worked at every others restaurant in the county

Not a good Smittys experience this morning. Service was less than quality. One order was messed up (chicken biscuits) and someone actually came out to tell us it was going to be messed up because they don't know how to follow directions (asked for honey butter on side, they put it on the biscuit anyway). The biscuits on that order were dry and chewy when they did come out. On the other order, bacon and sausage were fine, but the pancake was burnt to a crisp and inedible. Never saw the waitress again after we got our food, and upon going to pay for the meal, nobody asked us how the meal was or seemed to take notice that neither me or my friend had not eaten most of the food. There just seemed to be a lack of caring today. I'm not planning to come back to Smittys in the future.

Do not order the club sandwich 😒 unless u like it covered in mayonnaise. Other than that place was ok...
