My wife has gluten issues and I have been going to this place for over a year. She loves their bacon egg and cheese biscuits, cinnamon rolls and real deal chocolate chip cookies. I have to admit, I can’t believe some of these items are made without gluten. They do taste amazing! It is pricey, but worth it if you have allergies.

The employees are always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with menu selections and known allergens. The derby pie is incredible — we always order one for every holiday. Our non gluten free family members are always impressed with it. The cinnamon rolls, biscuits, pimento cheese and chicken/tuna salads are delicious. My husband is gluten free and I am dairy free so it is difficult for us to find restaurants that accommodate both (where the food actually tastes good). We love this place!

As someone who is gluten free and dairy free it is SO nice to go to this bakery and not have to ask a bunch of questions. Everything is gluten free and beyond delicious! I’ve taken family and friends who do not have dietary restrictions and they have all loved it as much as I do. Highly recommend!

The opportunity to find gluten free AND vegan goodies are rare, and this place didn't disappoint! I had a pizza roll (a savory version of a cinnamon roll imo) and a raspberry scone, both vegan. I'd suggest to get there earlier in the day to have more options if you are also vegan! They do well at labeling their items (dairy free, gluten free, paleo, etc). My friend had their mock chicken salad and loved it as well! I'll be back for sure if I'm ever in the area again.

Really expensive but awesome food and service! I am gluten sensitive and the donuts were good

Gluten free bakeries are hard to find and this one was great! My wife has celiac and she tried many different offerings here. Her favorite were the scones! It's a definite must try if you are in the Knoxville area! Side note, if you are a coffee lover, like me, Honeybee Coffee is right around the corner and carries many pastries from BYL!

I just went to Benefit Your Life for the first time. They have cinnamon rolls and donuts as part of their menu on Fridays and they were AMAZING. I also tried I bite of one of their scones, it was also amazing. I haven't had a decent baked good since going gluten free at the beginning of the year so this was a really nice surprise. They also had several dairy free items too. I highly recommend them whether or not you have dietary restrictions. Just keep in mind that the foods won't necessarily have the same texture or exact taste is if they were made from wheat flour. The items tasted amazing nonetheless. Thank you all for what you do!

While in Knoxville on business, I found Benefit Your Life GF Bakery and Cafe completely by accident. Unfortunately, they were already closed for the day so I had to wait until the next morning to give it a try. It was completely worth the wait and I will be going back as often as I am able. As someone who is unable to eat gluten, I was amazed by the taste and texture of the many items I purchased. Anyone who has eaten most GF baked goods can tell you that the taste and texture is usually not that appealing. Not the case at BYL! The wildberry scones, vanilla pound cake, brownies, chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon bun were all top notch. Thank you so much for making GF baked goods so well!

I love this place!!! I have celiac diesease so it's sometimes hard to find a closer but extremely good bakery that caters to completely gluten free, as well as diary free options,Paleo,Keto,Vegan,Vegetarian,Etc. First off their cinnamon rolls are to die for but I did try the apple fritters and you can't even taste a difference!!!! They are extremely good the only not so good thing I could say is they need a maryville location but idk about that because I would go their everyday I would probably work their I love this place so much!!!! 10/10 highly recommended!!!!

It’s wonderful to find a bakery that caters to gluten free diets. It’s awesome that they also have vegan stuff.
It would be really cool if they had gluten free and vegan together. Maybe it’s just me...
But my wife can’t eat gluten or dairy, so I brought her there thinking “score!”.
But the majority of the gluten free options had dairy. Kind of a let down, if I’m honest.
Otherwise, delicious! I enjoyed it!
Just didn’t have much available that her food allergies would allow. 🤷🏻♂️
