We had planned on stopping here, and after seeing the many billboards along the way, we’re glad we did! I only wish we had more time to spend, because I know we didn’t see half of it! I’d love to return someday!

I will never forget my visit to Wall, South Dakota. My mother and I stopped by Wall on our way to Badlands. The whole town is old-timey with so much character. You can spend hours exploring the town, but if you don’t have time, grab some food, pictures, and souvenirs for the road.

This place is almost too much to describe here. Rock stores, souvenir stores, jewelery stores, Cafe, backyard patio. We went in expecting a honeymoon coffee and spent way too much! Left with bags from most of the shops and lots of rocks!

We were in a hurry and didn't get to stay long. So we missed the 5c coffee and free water, not sure where all that was. Went in a few stores but wasn't impressed, especially with the western wear store. Overall just a really packed building, with so many people and just stuff. Unfortunately we never saw the jackalope either :( Maybe one day we'll come back and tour it all. But the best part is that entry is FREE.

It's impossible to miss this. Seriously. Even if you don't actually visit the store, you cannot drive through South Dakota without learning of the existence of possibly the most well-advertised, famous tourist trap in America.
That's really the impression that Wall Drug left with me. It's not really a drug store at all but a bunch of small souvenir shops all selling the same thing. The history behind the birth of the store is rather interesting. And yes, they still offer free iced water and 5 cent coffee which I didn't have the courage to try...
It's a great place to stop to get cheap gifts and a bite, and to be able to say you've been there. It's two minutes off the 90 so if you do want to stop by it's not a huge detour at all. And you won't need to spend more than 10 minutes unless you order food.
After wandering around for five minutes I found myself hungry out of boredom so I made my way to the lunch line. The overpriced menu has a lot to choose from. Burgers, dogs, breakfast items and sweets. I helped myself to a Buffalo Hot Dog with Onion Rings ($14.00) and a Maple Donut ($2.50). Meh. The hot dog was overcooked and came with a disappointing amount of pickles. The bun was deliciously spread and grilled in butter which it really needed. The onion rings were greasy goodness and really, really good. The Maple Donut was very dense and cakey, tasted great and fresh but nothing special.
I wouldn't not recommend Wall Drug, but in my honest opinion you can skip it and you wouldn't be missing much. But if you've got a few extra minutes, sure, you should stop by. Just don't expect much like I did then maybe you won't be as disappointed.

You're going to stop here because there will be signs over 300 miles away and the signs are plentiful. It's all you will think about for miles. You will probably buy something because this place has something for everyone! The the hungry and thirst, for the young and the old. It's a nice place to stop when passing through on a long car ride and there is not much more around the Wall property. I found some penny press souvenirs and stickers!

The store is huge! they have a lot of stuffs in this store. From food to medicine and merchandise etc! The restaurant can get really busy so make sure you have enough time if you want to dine-in.
There are very nice places to get souvenirs and gifts for your loved ones. The place is good for family and kids. There are a lot of stuffs for kids.
The dining area is huge and very fancy. The wood work is just amazing here!
They have huge advertisements all over the freeway which attracted us here. But its just a one-time place and a bit overhyped. Not recommended.

Cool and nostalgic place to visit if you happen to be in South Dakota. Had the bison burger with fries and a five cent coffee.

You can’t miss this place - the advertising is literally everywhere and to skip it is to miss an iconic roadside attraction filled with all sorts of quirkiness. Grab some food - whether their homemade doughnuts or sandwiches, they are serving up the best you’ll find in the area!
