Wall Drug Store is a nice, old fashioned western mini-mall. It’s essentially a collection of stores all themed like an old western town. The animals mounted on the wall, statues, signs, lights, and wood rustic architecture makes it feel like you got in a time machine and tracked back to the old west. There’s a large selection of tourist souvenirs, artwork, jewelry, and so much more. There’s even an old-style candy parlor, restaurant, and active pharmacy. It’s a very fun spot for tourists and I’d really recommending visiting if you’re passing through Wall.

Although we never planned on going to the Wall Drug Store it was a quite little gem. We personally never even heard of this place but after seeing TONS of advertising signs on our drive to the Badlands we just had to check it out (I guess good job advertising team)! It is a fun little shopping mall that combined lots of small stores into a fun shopping experience. You basically can go from store to store without exiting the building. The place has a good variety of little unique boutique stores, souvenirs and food. After spending a few hours of shopping and exploring I think it was definitely worth the little detour!

If you’re reading this, you probably have seen enough of those random signs that say “wall drug” on the I-90. Hear me out, but they did an excellent job at marketing which is why we stopped here. We saw these signs at least one per mile for two hours. You can’t miss this place, since the signs will start to get more aggressive as you approach the town of Wall.
This is a wonderland of road stops. You can easily spend over 3 hours with your road trip friends or family here. It’s filled with original merchandise, shops, paintings, etc. They are known for their free ice water (yes if you bring a whole bucket I heard they will fill it) as well as their 5-cent coffee. Lots of places to take pictures, it’s like a mini village but a lot more fun. Lots of parking, lots of food, and lots of fun. I can’t forget to mention that their doughnuts and burgers are fabulous. Breakfast is very classic but I loved it. Don’t forget to pick up your free bumper sticker from the Wall Drug gift shop!

Quite fun and unique place to stop by. If you are doing a road trip along the 90 interstate road, I'm pretty sure you seem a advertising for this store. A lot of them actually but it's worth it.
This place is not just a drug store anymore, it's a place where you can eat, have fun, shop and learn a little more about that region!
There is free Ice water, a small coffee for 5 cents, delicious donuts and more food options.
The place is a agglomerate of lots of different stores like jewelry, clothing store, antique store, gift shop, etc. It does have a section where it explain the story behind this place (which makes you understand why so many billboards along the road) and fun activities for everyone.
There are also good bathrooms if you just need a quick stop, a little church, the street where the wall drug store is located is quite interesting with the wild west style.
I highly recommend you to stop at this place!

Awesome little town with a bunch of cool little gift shops! The doughnut shop was closed so we were unable to get the "famous" donuts. Very clean and lots of very nice employees. The bathrooms are very clean and the souvenirs are a decent price! Would recommend if it's on your way definitely go!

Went to wall drug and loved it. It's quite commercial but so many cute stores. Got to see statues of pioneers and get pictures with them. It's a tourist trap, overpriced, very busy depending on season but a must see . We were there September 3rd of 2021. It was late morning and super busy. They have all kinds of jewelry made by natives too. Most of the store owners are nice.

We’ve been in this area multiple times and never had time to stop until this time. We always talked about Wall Drug though and the signs on I-90 always made us wonder what this place was about. It looks like a large village/town with every kind of shop/artifact you could think of. It’s something you should just see for yourself. You could easily spend hours here but we had to limit ourselves to about 1 hour because we were heading to the Badlands. Wall is a good place to stop before heading into the park and I hear they have free ice water which would be perfect before heading out to the park.

Visited Wall Drug for the 1st time a couple weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to expect when we got there but it was wild! Loved how much there was to see and all of the cool shops. Definitely a must stop if you are in SD!! I was loving all of it! March '22

Holy Toledo, this place is like Disney, Walmart and Cracker Barrel all rolled into one. Grandma and I stopped by for a bite to eat after reading every single billboard since Sioux Falls (seriously I bet there are thousands). It’s amazing. The place has a western store, a restaurant, grocery store, jewelry store, pharmacy, rock shop, a real dinosaur, tons of tourists and places to sit and people watch. Stop here, people. Ya gotta see it. Grandma said she’d been here before, like when she was a kid, she even said she recognized the dinosaur. I knew it, dinosaurs did still roam the earth when Granny was a kid! Tell everyone granny sent ya and have a great time, you’ll love this place!

If your into old west it is a must see. Wall Drug takes up the entire block. There is something for everyone. The pharmacy is set up like your parents or grandparents would have been used to. The western store has most every article of clothing you need to walk out looking like buffalo Bill. They have a gift shop for all your tourist needs. The post office is conveniently located across the street for sending post cards to your family and friends. If the post office is closed the gift shop will put stamps on your post cards so you just have to drop them off in the mail box at the post office. Wall drug is like a mall for those that like the Old West.
