Java Joint & Milkshake Parlor

Great coffee, great vibes, great people! This is our favorite little spot in the hills. Very chill, comfortable environment. We drive up from Spearfish just to visit Java Joint!!

Brought me back to what a coffee shop should be and we will be back. Absolutely loved it.

Awesome. You can mix and Match all flavors of ice cream. As well as add 4-5 toppings with no extra charge!

Such a cozy, relaxing place to hangout! Grabbed some dinner and coffees after hiking around the hills for new years. Highly recommend! The staff is so friendly and sweet and the prices are so affordable!

What a fun little coffee shop and ice cream parlor! Friend and I stayed in Lead during 4th of July weekend. We were tired and hungry after a day driving through the sites. Stopped here for ice cream to top off the day. Proprietor behind counter kindly filled us in on how things are made and the choices we could make. Our brains were blown. We each order a hefty milkshake and he kindly offered to prepare us morning fuel for the next days 9 hour drive home. Morning cup of coldbrew really helped as we crawled out of the foggy hills. Thanks again to Java Joint for a fun experience and the ice cream highlight of the weekend!

Java Joint in Lead is a great place to eat and chill. The coffee, shakes, and food are top notch. Tyke the owner is a stand up guy and very personable.

Our family just visited Java Joint for milkshakes and had a great time! The prices were so reasonable for the awesome milkshakes and we stayed for an hour playing their good selection of family games.

This was a great surprise in an otherwise typical copy and paste tourist town. I appreciated the vibe, music, and decor. The ice cream and malts were fantastic.

Always amazing! Been coming here since it opened and Tyke just keeps adding more and more delicious things to the menu. 10/10 will always recommend, and the prices are very low for the quality and quantity of food you get.
