You can get specials on certain days, like Omelet Friday-where breakfast meals are less expensive. Coffee is priced separate. Servers are attentive and friendly.

Update 11/9/2022-We recently visited The Olde Schoolhouse Restaurant, it is under new management. Their menu has changed somewhat, I didn't see any familiar staff, but service was professional and attentive.

We no longer could get the everything omelette without an upcharge for veggies/ingredients that goes in it. So, instead, we tried the scrambled eggs with peppers, onion, and meat of choice with a side of home fries which was a good alternative.

Not local here but stopped in prior to reading reviews. Our table was sticky and the food was mediocre but priced well. Staff was friendly and fast but asked excessively if we needed a coffee refill. My husband ordered the corned beef hash thinking it would be home made but it was clearly the canned kind. Okay experience but not a place that stands out in our mind to return.

If you're looking for a unique and eclectic spot to dine, go no further. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy and satisfied! Their menu has whatever you could want........ regardless of the time. I own a restaurant in the low country, so i can tell you they've got everything you need or desire to have a wonderful experience. If you're in the neighborhood and hungry, this is where to go!

The french toast fritters was presented in a cafeteria style tray, with the bread not being a brioche or a Texas toast bread. As if they just deep fried some toast, then cut it up, lacked butter, and cinnamon... Only was engrossed in powered sugar. Also there wasn't a dipping sauce container. Their saving grace was the chicken and pancakes, as that pancake was about 10-12 inches in diameter! Oh did that pancake taste great.

We went to The Cracked Egg on October 16, 2021 expecting a wonderful meal. It was anything but. Our waitress was a real sweetheart and told us that it was only her 4th day working there. She did the best she could with a slow kitchen staff. It wasn't even that crowded there but it took forever to get our food, which turned out to be a major disappointment!!.
We had looked up The Cracked Egg online before we went there where they advertised food they didn't even serve! What a huge disappointment the entire experience was. One thing is for sure... We'll never return there!

Lack of communication. Can’t even call the store to call in an order or ask if DoorDash is available. They will leave your order on stand by for an hR!!! They’ve even accepted an order and then turn around after an hR wait and say “we don’t deliver on weekends” and that’s after You have to show up at the store because the door dasher who took your order could not get it from the store. Yet the payment processes. Their attitude in the store is ridiculous. No customer service. If you get a booth, they’ll leave you sitting for over a half hour and then another half hour for food to come, and then after you eat it takes like 40 mins for a waiter to get you your check for you to be able to leave!

The food was good Some of the staff was rude the manager followed me out into the parking lot. And hurled some slanderous unfounded accusations at me.

Food was throughly enjoyable and in plentiful quantities. Waitstaff were bubbly and brought a bowl of water for our dog along with our drinks. Only 4 stars because the staff had a morning smoke break 20 feet from our table. Would recommend highly.

For some reason I get the same breakfast every time I go in corned beef eggs potatoes and for some reason even though the corned beef comes with it it asked you for another choice in meat and I always get bacon toast and coffee it's always delicious friendly server and customers

This placed seemed great for my wife and I to enjoy breakfast, but we were strongly disappointed. After 25 minutes of being alone without checked up on, the waitress said “sorry folks, there was a kitchen malfunction! I swear we didn’t forget you all out here.” We waited a total of 45 minutes and didn’t receive anything but our drinks. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends due to lack of punctuality.
