A diamond in the rough & very quaint! The wait staff was very attentive and social. The breakfast, oh the breakfast, was so, so delicious! I crave it again just a day later. Feel sorry for those who have had a bad experience there and will not go back. Too bad for them. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We'll make a once a month trip back for sure.

Wanted to like it but couldn't. Service was good but breakfest foods were very bland and undercooked. (Need better coffee too.) Should scale back the breakfest menu and focus on getting the taste of the basics (eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, hash browns, pancakes, etc) perfected. Pancakes were ridiculously large.

I have to say, this was one of THE BEST breakfast/brunch we've had. The Quesadillas were perfect! and my husbands Huge breakfast ( I think he had almost 1 of everything) was just so good! and our server Michael was great! Hats off to the "chef"
and the entire staff.

I truly have NO idea how this could get more than one star!! We were so excited to bring our son here, who had just recently moved to the area from California! This was by far....the absolute WORST breakfast we have ever eaten. I was so excited for him to taste grits...WAIT...WHAT???? The grits (if you want to call them that) were cold...watery and tasteless...the bacon was all undercooked and inedible...the coffee was more like watery tea...my two fried eggs ...well.. they were scrambled and the potatoes were cold and ...yes...tasteless! The wait staff work very hard and were very nice...however...I will NEVER be back

We had such high hopes, busy, smelled good, nice waitresses...terrible experience. 2 stars only because the staff was trying to do their best with what they had. Seems like managment/ownership is struggling to make sure their staff is given the tools they need to be successful. They are understaffed and missing basic items like enough coffee cups or food! Staff was absolutely doing their best, but items were missing, undercooked, almost completely cold by the time they arrived at the table. It was a terrible experience overall and the food unfortunately did not redeem them. Highlight is great location and atmosphere! Very clean and decent bathroom.
I would give this place a pass for now.

My husband and I had breakfast there this morning. Food was great, didn't wait long, waitress was very friendly! So many times omelettes are greasy, not the case here. Bacon wasn't paper thin, another common occurrence in restaurants these days. Very pleased with the cracked egg!

Came out for breakfast today and was incredibly excited to eat here. There was a little wait at first, which is okay, but we did wait a good bit longer than was quoted. Finally we were seated and we regret not getting a seat outside because the waitstaff was incredibly unorganized and stressed out and it made an incredibly stressful environment to be inside of. We sat there for 40 minutes after we finally ordered our food and started seeing other peoples food coming out who were seated at least 20 minutes after us, even people who were sat 5 minutes before us has finished their food completely. One of the waitresses saw us looking at her delivering food to the people who came in way after us and said "don't worry there's more food back there" even though our food should have been done WAY before theirs. She goes back and I saw our waitress look from the back with a panicked look and I already knew what happened. She comes over and says she forgot to ring in our food, even though we sat in a pretty obvious table that she had to look at us every time she walked around, you would think after 20 minutes of no food she would've at least checked. We wasted an hour at this restaurant to leave with no food. I've heard amazing things about this place, but unfortunately I will NEVER be back.

Now called The Olde Schoolhouse Restaurant is amazing. I had an appreciation breakfast for the bus drivers and monitors and Jacob, his wife?, and children were awesome. This planning came at the last minute and they were unfazed by the time-line nor the quantity. I ordered bacon, egg, and cheese; turkey bacon; egg, and cheese, and sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches. Everything was amazing. Our staff enjoy every bite. We had no leftovers. Thank you to everyone at The Olde Schoolhouse Restaurant for making our appreciation breakfast possible and for your amazing service. Thank you.

The breakfast potatoes are great, and the pancakes are enormous - one was more than I could eat. Service was wonderfully friendly! Our dog received loving attention galore, as well as a free plate of "pup-cakes" (see photo). These are just good people.
