I have orders to get stationed somewhere else in the coming months, & Cracked Egg is one to the top places in the low country I’ll miss.

Mom n’ pop atmosphere with great southern breakfast food.

*if you get coffee at corner perk you can bring it here to drink while you eat their breakfast*

When I come back to Port Royal I’ll be coming to the Cracked Egg for sure.

My favorite breakfast go to place. Quality is 2nd to none and the price is right.

Our first time there was September 23, 2017.. The server was friendly. I ordered three eggs over medium. Key words here "over medium". The eggs came out and with the yolk broken on all three eggs and almost hard cooked. I sent them back to the kitchen; the next eggs came out with two over medium and one with broken yolk and almost hard. My suggestion is that the cook be trained in how to cook and serve up eggs. Also the server should check the orders for correctness prior to serving them to the customers. Presentation counts a lot.
On a good note, the place seems country cozy. I will give them another try.

Can’t rate the food because what we saw and heard while waiting for a young child to clear a table was enough to put us off. The previous guests left most of their meal behind. A little girl was struggling to clear tables while adult staffed watched or checked their phone. Two parties left, one got tired of waiting for a waitress and the other got tired of a staff members young unattended son bouncing a balloon of their table. While an oblivious Gen Z sat at a booth for four reading with a glass of water on the table telling a cashier that’s all she needed.

Its a cute little restaurant. Soon as we walk in was told to find a clean table to sit in thought that was odd and not a good way to greet your customer. Waitress was nice though. The quality of the food is terrible. We ordered the cracked egg breakfast and everything on our plate was cold. Will not go there for again.

Super nice server. Coffee was okay. But the bacon on everyone's plate and in my omelette looked fine but tasted super burnt. So omelette tasted charred. Pancakes were big and fluffy, but kinda doughy. It was all "okay" but not fantastic, except for the friendly staff and customers.

My wife and I eat here everytime we visit the beaufort area. We usually share the cracked egg breakfast and leave so full. Our favorite breakfast restaurant. It is a must go place.

What a great little place. Chicken and pancakes, train wreck and several others ordered throughout our party. Excellent food!!! It was exactly what we were looking for after Marine Corps graduation. If we are ever near one of the four locations again, we will definitely be back.

Server was super nice, but menu is a mess with wrong prices and descriptions. Waited 45 minutes for grits and eggs. When we questioned, everyone blamed someone else. Then when the food actually came the eggs were cooked completely wrong and were inedible. We walked out. Never again.
