Staff was very pleasant and involved. Food was very good pancakes were huge and price was reasonable.

Update: Now named "The Olde Schoolhouse", the food and staff are just as good as they have always been.

One thing about eating out to me is I like to eat really good food if It am going to pay for it. The food at this restaurant is less than mediocre. If making a huge pancake is making it different than other restaurants, than make it small and better than pancake mix quality. The amount of food doesn't make your restaurant one of quality food. To be served very hard dried out bacon comes from a cook who doesn't know how to manage a kitchen. The bacon we were served was cooked 2 hours before it was served to us it wasn't what anyone would call crispy. It was worthy of tossing it in the trash. The environment is great, but maybe try to bring the quality of the food to the same level.

Food was great! We didn’t have to wait long but was asked for our phone number and they called us when our table was ready. You can’t wait inside. My guess is because the place is so small. Nowhere to wait inside. It was raining and cool outdoors so we just waited in the car. Luckily we parked very close to the front door. Coffee was weak is my only gripe. We will go back if we get the chance. We are from out of town.

This used to be our favorite weekend breakfast spot with our pup, but the last three times we’ve tried to eat there they have said they are too short staffed to let us sit in the outdoor area. We’ve also noticed portions are getting smaller & their fritters that were always so yummy have been burnt. Hate leaving bad reviews but it’s honest.

Stopped by this family owned establishment on a whim as we were in the area after visiting the Kazoo Factory. We ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich w/ waffle fries and a breakfast special - eggs, bacon and pancakes. Everything was delicious and our server, the owners son was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

We loved the food. 30 minute wait but that's to be expected as the place is really small. Service was average but we were really surprised at a 32% gratuity automatically added to our table of 7 (of which 3 were kids).

We had a party of 7 on a Thursday morning. They had several empty, dirty tables but took our name and asked us to wait as they had others on the list. It was raining but we still strolled around the area looking for alligators. When it was finally time for our table they gave us a tiny booth instead of a larger one that was also available. We asked if they wanted us to switch and the server said no that table was spoken for. They sat 2 people in this larger booth instead of giving it to us. Our food was delicious. The server was kinda short. Not a lot of personality. When I recieved the bill the total was $79 for food-expected but the "gratuity" was $25!!!! I was shocked. I'm sorry but this genteleman's service was not worth an almost 35% gratuity!!!! Very disappointed this is even allowed. I just want to warn others who choose to eat here! Watch your bill and size of your party!

Went to early lunch or late breakfast here on February 5th 2023. After taking my name I was asked to leave. He said not to be mean but he couldn't have me standing inside. He sited fire hazards.
They have good food here. But with the lack of employees to serve the public and with empty tables the host should have should have bused the empty table and sat my wife and It will be quite a while before they get a second chance.
Dissapointed.

Awesome food and great service! Totally love this place. Portions are perfect and the staff treats you like guests in their own home. Best breakfast spot around the area

Could've been a better experience. The place is fun, and has a cozy feel. Inside and out. Although, the young servers are a mess. There were people running everywhere. To make matters worse, my husband found half of an egg shell broken in his omlet. They apologized, and made him another one (forgetting the toast that comes with the meal). We waited another 30 mins before he could eat. Thankfully they took it off of our tickets, and we didn't have to pay for this disaster.
