Loved it here! Staff was super friendly, and everything about it reminded me of small town diners in my hometown that have long gone. If I lived here I'd be at this joint regularly. Great prices and generous portions. Huge appreciation that they had gluten-free bread/toast available, and that their shrimp and grits were also GF.

Great place to eat. Staff very helpful and friendly. Amy was my server very impressive. Food and service was fast. I did not have to wait long after placing order. The menu and just the place is exciting. This is a good breakfast spot hands down. Prices are very reasonable

Great, clean environment- they say the pledge every morning at 8am, servers are welcoming, friendly & helpful- especially with my kids.. Food is very flavorful- consistently!! Absolutely love their Brew Bar options as well- delicious!

We are here in Beaufort and found the sign in the door that said "I love the Constitution" and knew we had to come back for breakfast. We were not disappointed. Delicious food, but get here early because at 8am, they stop to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Ask for Amy, she was fabulous.

Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were eager to introduce us first timers to the restaurant and what the best specialty items were. I found the Cajun Shrimp and Grits to be out of this world good, especially given the fact that you get a choice of house made biscuits to go with it. For the price it is basically impossible to beat. It looks humble on the outside, but the ambience of the interior is really pleasant with ample seating and a beautiful loft area.

Fun place, nice staff, outstanding variety and taste. Quality food with great shrimp gumbo. The shrimp burger was especially good. No one in our party was disappointed. Highly recommend.

Absolutely a gem of a place for breakfast and lunch!! Great portions and friendly service. Each morning around 8am they ring a bell, and everyone who chooses to do so, stands and recites The Pledge of Allegiance! Less than a block from the river and shops along Bay Street! Pictures is the bacon and cheese omelette with full strips of bacon!!

My wife and I tried to eat at Blackstone’s Cafe this morning. The hotel we are staying at gave us food vouchers that are valid at this restaurant. The hostess told us it would be a 30-40 minute wait. We left and walked to another restaurant 5 minutes away. We were seated within minutes and had a great breakfast that served delicious cheese biscuits. We returned to Blackstone’s Cafe for lunch. When we arrived a man told us they were no longer serving new customers as they stop seating new customers at 1:40. My wife asked if we could order something to go as we had vouchers that we wanted to use. He said the grill is turned off at 1:40. I looked at my Apple phone to check the time. I told him it was 1:43! He said sorry. I have owned a sub shop for 11 years. We close at 9:00pm. If you walk into my store at 9:00pm you will be served. This is the only restaurant I have ever been to that refuse to serve guest 20 minutes before their advertised closing time.

I hadn’t been to Beaufort since my son got out of Marine Corps. It has been on my bucket list to come spend some time. It is such a lovely city. We ate at the Blackstone and got brunch items. WOW!! The food was great.. the service was fantastic.. what a great place.. made me wish we had something like this at home.. it is for sure our kind of place. If you go to Beaufort put it on your go to place to eat. Thanks to the employees there that directed us to the best place to get fresh shrimp.. that didn’t disappoint either.. what great people!

My fiancé and I had breakfast vouchers from The Beaufort Inn for here or the Bagel place. We selected this place.
Our timing was perfect, was greeted warmly and the hostess’s cheery demeanor.
For breakfast, we both selected the two eggs with choice of protein, toast or choice of bread, grits or hash browns or diced Potatoes. ($11.00 each).
My fiancé enjoyed his breakfast immensely. Mine hit the spot. The hash browns weren’t very good (I’m very picky on how my hash browns are cooked, no fault of the restaurant).
Our server was On Target. He did a wonderful job! Very attentive.
This wasn’t a bad restaurant; we’d eat here again.
PS The Carnation given to me for Mother’s Day is a nice touch! Thank you ☺️
