Wonderful little neighbourhood coffee shop. Definitely a sit down experience. Nice indoor and outdoor options. Espresso is good. Food options are good.

I think Maplewood does many things really well. The customer service is top notch, the food is incredible and I love how many vegan options there are. In pre-COVID times, the hardest this was getting seating (now that reality is hardly existent!). I love to grab a cup of coffee to go and then walk around the neighborhood. Highly suggest you try it too!

We have been here many times and it is great. The main barista and Manager, Chelsea, makes us feel at home and makes great coffees. This place rocks!!
(Returned a few years after original post and this place has gone downhill! So sad!)

6/5 stars actually. Prices were good, selection was good, staff was quick and friendly. Food was out of this world. I got the breakfast plate and subbed the toast for their herb buscuit, my friend got the avocado toast with kombucha (on tap!). Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Portion size was perfect. It's located inside a nice little transformed old home, so it feels homey. Truly a lovely experience. I would highly recommend.

Great spot!
Come here a lot with my wife, the place is super cozy and staff is super friendly. I do wish their matcha tastes better, besides that love their drinks overall!!

This Charming, cozy, old house has been turned into a delightful Cafe. The food here is beyond delicious. My favorite was the pecan waffles and the spiced apple cider and my friends were your enthusiastic about their pumpkin lattes. Coming here is like a comfortable step into a comfortable pass, but in the back room you will find many people on their laptops. It is neat, clean, the people behind the counter are friendly, and this is one of my favorite discoveries in Portland. It is nestled among other houses and big Charming trees.

Great neighborhood coffee shop that just added a nice food menu. Kind of hidden in the Maplewood neighborhood near the school. Great coffee, perhaps some of the best in the city. On par with some of the big name places downtown. Owners is very cool, letting neighborhood groups using the cafe for group meetings and events.

Cozy place with a welcoming atmosphere. I had a Jasmine peony tea and a caprese sandwich. Both were delicious. Great place to get some work done, and has multiple rooms to sit. It is in an old grocery store and it is super charming.

It's such a cute, quaint place. But also fairly hipster style. Anyway, great coffee and tea and helpful people. I had a great time there. Parking is difficult so expect a short walk after finding something in the residential/school neighborhood.

Adorable, cozy coffee house. Lots of tables spread across many different spaces. Good food and coffee. The only reason I did 4 instead of 5 stars is that the chairs are tilted at an angle that makes them uncomfortable and I've run into a few staff that aren't as warm and welcoming as the setting demands.
