First, the less than stellar reviews about the new management and eco-friendly policies are unfortunate because the new owners, staff, and ideas are lovely.

The renovations are thoughtful and the new back deck is great on warmer/dry days. The menu is solid and the new baked goods are delicious. Music is always on point, wifi is strong, and bathrooms are clean. We come here with our kids on the weekends and during the work day to get out of the house on occasion. The staff have been nothing but friendly - polite, chill, and accommodating. I was overcharged the other day without noticing. One of the staff brought my to-go items to me and addressed the refund which was greatly appreciated. The owners have incorporated community events like featuring local makers, paint nights, bingo, etc. This place is a small neighborhood gem and everyone we've encountered has good intentions. We're appreciative that they're open again and just wish it was 7 days a week. Keep up the good work y'all!

What a little find! Nestled between trees in an quaint neighborhood. A beautiful historic home has been converted to a coffeehouse. Gorgeous inside! Calm atmosphere and music. Plenty of seating for larger gatherings and twosomes. Outdoor seating as well when the weather cooperates. Unique drinks and food with a nice variety. Will cater to meat, vegan, gluten free and in between. Friendly staff. Glad to make it here and I’ll be back.

everything I've had so far has been great. breakfast bagel sandwiches, breakfast burrito, scones, and cinnamon rolls have all been great. I think the coffee is good, but I'm not a great judge of that.

Good outdoor seating, good indoor seating, and a nice feel in a converted home. I also love the location being tucked away in a neighborhood away from everything.

Polite and friendly staff, good food and drinks, and good atmosphere - will definitely return regularly

Wow. Right in the middle of a quaint residential neighborhood. Nice coffee options, only had a scone.

Quaint house converted to a coffee shop. Plenty of space, great mix of pastries and coffee/tea selections. The breakfast platter was delicious. Baked eggs were flavorful, potatoes, bacon and sourdough bread sprinkled with rosemary. Wonderful breakfast. My wife enjoyed the biscuit and bacon. The chocolate croissant was OK. Very flakey, but not enough chocolate in it. Great atmosphere. If you are driving or walking, keep your eyes open, because it blends into the neighborhood.

Possibly the best neighborhood cafe in Portland. There, I've said it. Maplewood Coffee is in a super cool historic building with lots of tables and has a pretty garden in back. Extracto coffee is served.

On the con side, parking is tricky and there are few outlets.

Fantastic place overall. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful spot! I was so glad I found this spot. A perfect to grab coffee or brunch with friends. It's in a middle of house-centric neighborhood which was nice. This cute and stylish coffee shop will immediately become your favorite!

Used to love this place, but now too crowded,no where to park, food is aweful, people on computers working taking up valuable space...go home and work! This is a coffee shop!

Cute coffee spot with space to get work done. The staff was friendly and they played good music.
