Came in today for the first time and they had a super busy morning, so we were trying to be very patient and understanding because of Covid. Got to the register and they let us know we should order online so the kitchen had time to catch up on orders (very understandable). When trying to ask about the process for online orders we got very terse responses from obviously irritated employees. When coming to pick up food after the online orders felt very patronized and watched other customers get ignored for up to 10 minutes at which point they were finally told they had to order online. Food was great, but had a very uncomfortable experience the entire time.

Best organic and local food in Hood River for lunch and breakfast. They bake their bread daily, excellent produce from their local farm and vendors. Beer on tap and to go as well as excellent local drinks to take on your hike or river adventure with your epic sandwich. The sandwiches are huge, delicious and the service is so friendly and laid back yet very professional and passionate culinary team. Been a regular there since first day in town. My favorite part of my morning is getting my 10 speed coffee and seeing what new produce is coming off the farm and onto the menu, such beautiful veggies! Gorge pride for sure!

The BEST place in Hood River to get a hot coffee & breakfast sandwich! Staff are super friendly & personable. Best coffee in town! They have gluten free options as well. Doesn't break the bank either. They also have soup, salads & sandwiches, beer, kombucha & $5 mimosas:) love, love, love this place!!

My husband and I were looking for something specific when we stayed in Hood River. I called several places on the phone and this location was the kindest and gave the most information about other businesses that might have what we were looking for. We stopped and bought some things from them and they were just as kind in person. Great customer service.

We stopped by yesterday for lunch.

We wore our masks, walked in. 2 employees working. And 1 customer waiting by the door for his order.

1 of the employees, fairly friendly stated that they are not taking walk in orders and that we would have to order online. So as I was looking at the name of the restaurant. The other worker, rudely stated that I couldn't be in the restaurant.

So walked out, sat right outside the door reviewing their menu on my phone.

While doing this, another customer walks in. At first they advised her that ALL orders were by online. Then they stated, "we're not busy, so we can take your order".

So yah...will never visit that restaurant again. And hopefully if you're the owner and are reading this. Maybe you should have a talk with your employees. Especially during these Covid times and people willing to support your buisness

Great soups and sandwiches! Their Turkey Brie is my favorite sandwich. I would say of all time but that's a bit of an exaggeration. It's close though. Highly recommend stopping here for some lunch.

Complete chaos, sub standard customer service and mediocre coffee. I am not sure if they just reopened due to COVID, but should consider establishing better procedures. We arrived and ordered our food/coffee and grabbed a seat. Cool atmosphere, music and lots of windows. Then, they called out our drinks. Luckily I confirm my drinks due to a dairy intolerance. The first one called was made with whole milk, so I confirmed the second drink....barista informs me the order for 2 different lattes with alternative milks came through on her end as regular lattes. How does that happen? So, she remakes them. We taste them and end up throwing them away 15 mins later (weak and no foam). At that point we are still waiting around for food... So we are about 25 mins in at this point. The place is packed and we see workers wondering around calling out names for orders. At one point we thought we heard someone call our name, but when we went to the counter we could not get anyone's attention and saw no food. It was also not clear where we should pick up food ordered for there. Another 10 mins passes and I finally get someone's attention in the back. He goes to the register and a female cashier comes back with our food. I asked how long it had been sitting there and her reply was "I called your name 4 times" Really? At this point there are way too many people in the place and we were over it, so we ate our cold bacon and eggs (with our hands btw, since there was no silverware or plastic wear to be found) and went to another coffee shop 2 blocks away to get proper lattes. Won't be returning. Too much competition in the area to put up with this.

The food was good. The service sucked. They lost my order, and when I stopped the server to ask about it, she thought I was joking. Why would I joke about not getting my food. Finally after complaining again, and an hour wait. They brought my sandwich. The comment was, "We thought it was a screw up." It definitely was that. I won't go back.

Their turkey sandwich was absolutely delicious! Warmed homemade whole wheat roll with cranberry sauce and thinly sliced apple worked perfectly with the turkey. Best sandwich I've had in a long time!

Breakfast sandwiches, yogurt. Avocado toast....bfast sandwiches decent, seating is limited. Service is a little slow. Good place if you're not expecting a lot. Sandwich and coffee.
