River Daze Café

We just stopped in for a quick coffee on our way out of town. The group working was either not in a hurry or didn’t know how to take orders. We waited almost 18 min for a single cup of coffee. After that, the girl came up to my wife and just told her they were out of the syrup flavoring she had asked for. Didn’t offer another flavor, didn’t pretend to be sorry, just flatly told her it couldn’t be done. Then they didn’t have a lid at the station where she made the drink and just told my wife to go look for one. Are you kidding? We paid almost $10 for my wife to do everything but pour the coffee itself? The absolute indifference to customers and poor attitude of the staff cannot be overcome by the product, even if it had tasted good. It was an insulting experience and left a bad taste in our mouths.

Kerry and his wife run an awesome place!! The big garage doors make it a great spot to get breakfast and enjoy the morning. The food is phenomenal. I had the T-Rex breakfast sandwich. The biscuit is made from scratch and delicious. The eggs are all cooked for each order, so dont expect McD's speed, but at a spot like this why the rush?

Can't wait to return!

Nice and airy space, had bagels and lox. Pretty delicious! Friends ordered a variety of breakfast sandwiches and everyone was very happy and full when we left :).

We were passing thru town and Riverdaze cafe looked super cute! Food Excellent! Very fresh and price was good. Nice vibe with cool music also.

This place is amazing, the homemade English muffins are immaculate, the bacon is fantastic. I definitely recommend this place.

We came for a coffee, it was good but my review is only half for the food. We witnessed the manager deal with one of the rudest customers I’ve ever seen. She handled it with grace and offered her money back even when it wasn’t warranted. The kindness of the manager and her dealing with the patron was second to none.

Super good sandwiches. The staff were really helpful and you could see and taste the attention to quality in the food. It’s got a co-op cafe feel.

Fantastic lox & cream cheese bagel. Welcoming staff and atmosphere but very long wait for a simple order.

This was great. Are 6 stars possible?? As someone who doesn’t like to review places, and seldom does, I felt moved to write a review because of how great my breakfast sandwich was (and my girlfriend told me for the fifth time to shut up about how great it was and write a review). I think they must make the bread here (it looks like they do), because it was so soft and the taste was extraordinary. I only had a egg sandwich myself and I snuck a bite of my girlfriend’s Turkey & Brie hot sandwich - I tried to convince her we should stay until lunch to eat here again. Sigh. We are leaving now, but in the words of General MacArthur, “I shall return.”

Awesome food! Very cheerful and friendly service. Nice street view seating. Best Breakfast in Hood River!
