Post covid review
We sat outside in early May for dinner. Very good drinks and the food was excellent. I got the hanger steak and my wife got the chicken sandwich with fries. They also had s’mores kits for the fire which was cute. Good vibes and a good time.

Been here a few times and I am always impressed with the food, drinks, service and atmosphere. They change up the art and it's lmost always local and always amazing. I've had the kickstand burger and the bison burger and the meatballs and they are all awesome. My wife went with the chorizo fries and hasn't changed up her order for the last 3 visits because she loves them so much.

Been coming here for a few years and realized, "wow, I've never opined on here about kickstand!" Now you're subject to my irrelevant opinion and here it is: all around, this is the best coffee joint in town. Everything is really 4.5/5 and that's a testimony in itself. I prefer their coffee to all the other decent options in town (Doppio and Dog River) and their breakfast burger is legit. Furthermore, it's clear this place is a hub of the community with lots of people meeting and greeting and folks displaying how at home they feel kickin' it here. Come by and experience an authentic HR experience.

Love this place! Great vibe and customer service. The Poke Bowl is a favorite of mine, so fresh and tasty. The outside scene on the patio is awesome the summer, and the big outdoor fire place keeps you toasty when it gets chilly.

Nice outdoor seating, and be sure to cross the street for a better view of Mt Adams. The artfully curved fries were a highlight for me.

I'm only giving 1 star because the food wasn't horrible, even though very overpriced for what you get, but it's a cool place. However, the service was horrible! They were not even busy to use as an excuse. No one greeted us when we went in. Stood waiting to order for several minutes while 2 people walked by and didn't even offer to help. Got the wrong meal served. Wasn't even offered napkins or told where I could get some. Not sure I'd be back or recommend them to anyone just due to their extemely poor customer service.

Looking for a dog-friendly breakfast in Hood River and came across this gem. He had the Ricky Bobby and I had the SESH Bowl. The bowl was fabulous, with the proportions of each ingredient dialed in perfectly. It's totally worth a stop for the incredible cardamom cold brew and a wonderful breakfast. We'll be back!
