Hungry and looking for a place to eat and relax in Hood river? This place is perfect for both. Super pretty patio area with a fire pit area- friendly staff and delicious food. We ordered the family plate of fried chicken and what came was a humongous plate of yummy fried chicken thighs with two biscuits. Must check out this place if in the area!!

Online ordering at the table was not something that worked well when you have details you want expressed. My husband and I wanted to slit a meal. There was no place to ask for our burger to be cut in half. Staff was friendly and the bison burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were unique and very tasty.

When in Hood River you HAVE to have dinner at Kickstand! On a two night trip we went both evenings!
First, the cocktails are phenomenal. If you like an Old Fashioned, Kickstand has the best! Arriving in your own personal "puzzle box" that is engulfed with smoke this cocktail is one for the ages. Truly, the best Old Fashioned I've ever had!
Second, every other cocktail ordered was on point!
Third, you won't go wrong with anything on their dinner menu. In two nights we had wings, dirty fries, vegan tacos, tuna tostadas, and the crispy chicken sandwich. Seriously every item was delicious!
Finally, the staff was kind and efficient! If you're in the area than Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen is your spot!

Went twice in one trip to Hood River it was so good. Breakfast was delicious. I got avacado toast and the burrito bowl. Burrito bowl was swangin. Coffee is delicious. Vibe is so chill and loved enjoying the outside area with fireplace. They do run out of ingredients quickly.

Pros:Outdoor fire pit❤ Great indoor & outdoor seating, good for family, friends, meet ups, dates & drinks. Great food service.
Cons: Small space saving seating/indoors
& for some reasons every time I go the waiter or greater/hostess attends me soo late. They take longer compare to similar in town competitor restaurants.

Breakfast here was fantastic! The food is very high quality, but was a little pricey for smaller quantities of food (shrinkflation anyone?). Other than that, flavors were well developed, ingredients seemed high quality, the coffee was above average, and the atmosphere was great! I'll definitely be back.

The food selection and quality was pretty good. Haven’t seen similar dishes much. However, it took a while, there were no sun umbrellas and their espresso machine wasn’t working.

Usually delicious! I've raved about their fries being the best in the Gorge for a while. But the last couple of times we've been, portions are less, prices are more, service is lacking, and taste is plainer... Rather sad... We paid 15 bucks for 2 ahi ahi tacos.... thought it would be on the bigger taco side... These aren't even 10 dollar tacos =( sad day
