First time here in four years and it’s still great coffee! It’s expanded since we last were here. Love the vibe, staff, coffee and food. Probably the best coffee spot in Hood River these days. Check it out.

Kickstand was delicious and the vibe was fantastic. The burnt cheesecake was wonderful (and we normally don’t like cheesecake) it was very light and fluffy and the burnt flavor went nicely with it. The chocolate cake was amazing. The octopus was delicious. The cocktails were amazing also. Would return in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Hamburger and fries. Mast was most and cooked perfectly with not too much salt. The Kickstand burger is a great combination of flavors. They don't have donuts anymore. It's more of a bar, pub type atmosphere.

Phenomenal restaurant! Good service but by far some of the best food I've had.
The waiter and staff were friendly, kept our drinks coming and made sure we were taken care of.
I got fried chicken and fries. The chicken was thigh meat so very moist and fill of flavor. The crust was nice and crispy that meshed with the juiciness perfectly. There was an amazing honey Tabasco sauce that creatively added to the already amazing flavors. The fries were fresh with a crispy curl outside and a melt in your mouth inside.
My wife got a burger, and from her opinion it was one of the best burgers of her life. It was your typical frozen patty burger. You could tell that it had been crafted and designed for your mouth specifically and not for the masses.
I would recommend that you give this place a try. My only hesitation, is I don't want everyone to know about how good they are so I could keep it my secret but that would be selfish.

GREAT food and we were able to bring our dogs. They have a large outdoor patio that is shaded, but you should make a reservation, the shaded spots go quickly. We have a COVID puppy and everyone was very understanding and awesome with her. It's HARD to find a restaurant that has great food and takes pets. We were so impressed after brunch today that we went back for dinner. We had their coconut shrimp, spicy cauliflower, Bison burger, house burger, and their mushroom burger. We all LOVED our meals. The mustard slaw they use on the mushroom burger is AMAZING! Staff is super friendly....would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place! Thanks for the being so kind to our baby girl.

Creative cocktails and good standard ones. Not a huge spirit selection but respectable and good. Good local beer choices also. The food was awesome! Their cheeseburger was done medium and still had some color and was juicy. But the killer item was the fries! Or more appropriately their sidewinder! Perfect balance of crispy and thickness.

The Banh Mi sandwich for years had been my favorite. You guys took it off the menu then brought it back.
Today, I didn't have time to sit and eat so, I ordered the Banh Mi sandwich online.
I arrived at the store, waited 10 mins and as soon as it was prepared, they handed it to me and I started consuming it in the car within a couple minutes after picking up.
I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The sandwich was downright terrible. It was mostly disappointing because I paid almost $20 for it. I ate most of it only because I was starving and needed to replenish calories.
In the past, I use to savor every bite.
The bread felt and tasted like warm, freshly-toasted but stale.The pork belly was dry and not tender... in it's heyday, it was mouth-watering delicious.
Since this menu item was brought back after a hiatus, I'm convinced something was changed... I don't like it and will no longer order the Banh Mi.

One of the best meals we've had in a while! Loved the octopus and the tuna tostada. Cheesecake was wonderful as well. And cocktails were refreshing and not too sweet. Had the Out of Thyme and the Get Rad.
They have a great sound system and awesome outdoor seating. It's in a relatively quiet neighborhood.
They officially are open until 9:30 but will stay a bit longer if busy it seems.

This is a must, if you go to Hood River. We would nearly drive there just for this restaurant. The service was great, and timely. Each item we ordered was presented beautifully. Most importantly, everything we tried was delicious and everything we saw pass by looked the same! (Only critique... they should offer more non-alcoholic beverages)
