Coffee Plant Roaster

Eugene as a whole is becoming so competitive in coffee houses! With the exception of a few outstanding chain affiliated shops, just about everyone else does their own unique blends, roasts and styles. Most are good, a few miss the mark entirely. At Coffee Plant Roasters, they know how to do it right!!

I am a tough judge of coffee because I like it 'neat'... straight Americano or Espresso, no sweetners or froth! That makes getting the roast correct and the brewing down critical as there is no opportunity for cover-up. Coffee Plant Roasters has that covered. Their espresso goes down smoothly. Further, their edibles are very nice! It's a warm and inviting place, excellently staffed and very nicely set up. The only issue you might have is parking but its worth it to walk if needed. Well done CPR!!

Used to really enjoy this place, but recently feel that it's been getting worse. Took myself here as a treat and spent $10 on an acai bowl that I used to love. Instead I got a bowl of mediocre melon balls, no coconut flakes (one of 5 ingredients), and feel super disappointed that I spent my money here.

Ordered two 12oz americanos and waited over 20 minutes. Unorganized and no apology for the wait.

Excellent Staff, excellent Espresso, exceeding good Chemex Pour Over of a light roasted, fruity, chocolatey Costa Rican. Pastries pass being good by far. Thank you for putting good energy and attention into your place. Highly recommend to try and frequent.

Great coffee, atmosphere and staff.

our coffee was just fine... I am just annoyed there was zero effort to put my coffee in a “for here cup” so that I could decant it into my reusable cup. Instead I had to unnecessarily use a plastic cup. I wasn’t asking anyone to touch my reusable cup! I understand there are covid precautions but when I see a cafe with many unmasked customers inside, using dishes that will be washed, it is difficult for me to understand why my small effort to be less wasteful is any imposition on the business. It just felt like the person helping us was lightly power tripping and instinctively saying no instead of considering an alternative solution. What a bummer!

Coffee is pretty good, but the staff can come off a little cold sometimes. And the coffee isn't good enough to have them bring your mood down. Nice space inside, weird location, and the decorations are a bit generic.

I’ve never written a google before, but I simply HAD to for this place! 100/100 AMAZING! Staff was super super sweet, they had super healthy food options (that were also super fresh too!), and they have HOMEMADE almond milk!! usually homemade almond milk (from my experience) is watery and kind of gross, but theirs is like..... the best thing i’ve ever tasted in my life. best coffee i’ve ever had! you have to go here if you get the chance!!!!

What a beautiful space. The apple juice is delicious. Great service and food! And the coffee is such high quality with the perfect roast. Love it!
