Coffee Plant Roaster

Nice bean selection! Staff are very friendly. I got the Honduras Santa Elena & Nicaragua Santos Demitrio Flores in tins.

I love their coffee and food. Particularly the biscuits. Not so crazy about the greens.

They have a big problem with their online ordering system. I've been there 3 times, and each time I've had ordering issues. I keep going back because of their food and the employees.

The breakdown in their ordering system occurs with getting the food. Both the 1st and last time I went I was told I'd be notified by email. No email received. Finally a nice woman brought my food out, telling me they didn't have car delivery service (which I already knew), and must pick my order up from the window.

After I left I picked up an earlier phone message from them saying my order was ready. I called to ask the best way to ensure I got my order in a timely fashion. I spoke with a very helpful man, who told me they were having problems with their online ordering system. He told me it would be best to place my online order and go to the window about 10 minutes after.

With a name like coffee roasters... You'd think they'd have okay coffee... But nope. I can't see why this place seems crowded. Drinks were devoid of taste... Food just left us bleh... Come to coffee roasters if you wanna feel roasted because you paying for this is the biggest joke...

I met friends from Portland here to have coffee and talk business on a late Monday morning and we thought we scored with this nice, big table. The space is very open and relaxing. Until the coffee bean roaster starts up. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat in a quiet spot, this isn't it. If you have plenty of time to kill and you aren't starving and you don't mind yelling over the noise, you will love CPR. I have never had an experience like this last one here. I chose the spot because I wanted to impress my friends but between the fact that our food took forever, literally 40 minutes, and the need to yell to hear each other, they weren't impressed. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else so we could actually talk. Also, the worst Earl Grey ever. Major disappointment. The reason it got 3 stars was the positive experiences that I have had here before. It might be a while before I give it another try.

The quinoa bowl (add tempeh) is DELICIOUS. I don’t know what they season it all with, but MAN it’s good. Coffee isn’t bad, could be a bit lighter of a roast/sweeter of a coffee.

The modern industrial chic interior space has a high open ceiling and a dozen or so tables to accommodate dining or other typical coffee house activities. The beverage menu is impressive, as is their hot food offerings from the kitchen. The variety and creativity that goes into curating their rotating seasonal menu sets this place apart from other independent roasters who focus solely on coffee. Everything we tried was fantastic!

Great coffee. had a breakfast sandwich, it was handmade not from some factory like other coffee places.

my favorite pastries in town 💕 their baker is incredible, and the roaster is super passionate and will come talk to you about the beans he has in stock & will hook you up with the best stuff.

Coffee tasted truly bad. I've never thrown out a full latte but I couldn't drink it the taste was so bad. It was supposed to be a regular hot latte.

Danish was delicious though.

You know I always forget to review the places that I love. Seems easy to only focus on negatives. I live just up the street from CPR so it’s super convenient for me to just take a stroll to go get my coffee and or a good meal. All of the people who work here are so welcoming and friendly. Always willing to help me pick something delicious. The food is always so well made, the cooks do an outstanding job. I can’t speak highly enough of this place, please go visit they are lovely people that make beautiful coffees and delicious food
