The service I received in this tiny place was polite and efficient. I can see why there’s friction reported in reviews here, though: customers can take a long time to order and the line gets very long. The pastry case is frightfully tempting! Marionberry scone was excellent — light as a feather with lots of berry flavor. The beach baguette combo was tasty, though there’s a lot of bread in that baguette so it was a little hard to eat (maybe adding cucumber for a little extra veg was a mistake). Cookies were top-notch. I would visit again, but come early and bring your patience — this place is popular!

The pastries are incredibly expensive ($4.50 for a plain croissant!), the tea was good, apple donut with no apple, and owner very rude (employees not really friendly but professional). Disappointed that such a premium spot be abusing its prime location in charming Cannon Beach.

It's a bakery at the beach. That alone is worth 4 stars, but it's also very good! Good bread, yummy donuts and cookies too. Like most of Cannon Beach parking is tight. Look for the designated areas. Don't park where you shouldn't or you will get a ticket.

We used to go to Cannon Beach 3 or 4 times a year and always stopped to grab treats from the bakery. It had been a few years since we've been down mainly because it has been so crowded and hard to find a place to stay (we've always planned trips at the last minute). We finally got down there last week. While it is still the same beach and Haystack Rock the town has changed a bit and so has the bakery. Instead of fresh baked pastries we ended up with with stale tasting, barely filled eclairs and turnovers even though we were assured by the crew that morning they were just made. And the price! There is something to the saying, things never remain the same...

They made a beautiful cake for us... Chocolate with raspberry filling. Very moist and yummy. Would recommend them to anyone who asks...

Eating donuts at this place reminds me of Homer Simpsons. No idea why.

We came here for coffee, since the other coffee shop had a very long line. Staff was extremely rude. Prices are not posted anywhere, and the staff was rude to every customer that walked in the door. Coffee was good, and the wait was not horrible, but customer service is huge to me.

Good coffee. Ok prices. Not very friendly service. Decent amount of breakfast baked goods available. Closed Tuesdays for some odd reason.

I got an iced latte with almond milk, super yummy! They had quick service and their employees were pretty nice. Their pastry’s looked super delish and I totally would go again! A bit pricey but no more than Starbucks, and we got to support a local business, so I’d say worth it!! Love it!

My wife and I stop here frequently when we stay in Cannon beach. Excellent bread, and pastries. We take several loaves home with us when we head home. We recommend the Hay stack bread. Mmmm, good!
