Wow, no question this place gets 5 Stars from me, between the pastries and the coffee (not to mention the great selection), I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an early morning pick me up!
We stopped here before most of the shops in town opened. Little did we know that we were doing a DOUBLE breakfast on this day, so we wet a little nuts pastry wise.
The Apple Cider donut was a top 10 donuts in my book. They are old fashioned style and it was crispy on the outside just like I like them. My girlfriend got a Cream Cheese Danish, which I hate, but she seemed to enjoy it.
If we had stayed in Cannon Beach for longer, I would have liked to try their sourdough bread, which seems to be the thing to get here. They also had great looking bagels and cupcakes.
Shout out to their shirts (pictured). I really thought they were creative. All of this plus top notch coffee gets this place 5 Stars!

We used Cannon Beach Bakery for our nonprofit event. We had a great experience partnering with them this year and greatly appreciated their support of our Fighting Cancer to the Coast event! Our runners loved their amazing pastries!

We came early around 9am on a Sunday. No social distancing but many wore masks. It wasn’t busy til after we left. I purchased a marionberry ($3.95) danish which is not my favorite but coming from HI and not having it there, wanted to indulge in something different. It was very good as well as the coffee. Coffee you pump yourself from a thermos but it was still good. Maybe I just needed caffeine.
What wasn’t pleasant was the lady who serviced me which appeared to be angry. Dark hair up and older, almost scolding in manner. I have never felt any hostility in OR except from her. For no reason. She must not be the owner as who would treat customers that way, and perhaps the same individual that another complained about. Find another employment if you hate your job. It left a very distasteful taste in my mouth for being on vacation. The establishment next door was full of joy. She could learn from that place how to treat customers.
Anyways as we left there were many people now waiting in line so get there early and ignore the rude lady if you love expensive pastries.

picked up some Sourdough and made one of the best tuna melts I've ever had! 😋

Two of the pastries we got were pretty tasty, but the apple fritter (my go-to donut everywhere!) was pretty dry and bland. But the marionberry scone and cream cheese danish were fresh and delicious. Quick and friendly service, really cute little shop right on the main drag, and practicing social distancing/mask mandates very well!

Today was their first day open for a while, but I got a marionberry scone that was so stale I had to throw it away. It was really pretty awful. Maybe they have been baking before today - it seems maybe they bake for other coffee shops? It was a disappointment for sure. I’m going to go to a different bakery next time I’m in town. I usually come to this one because it’s centrally located. Never been wowed but never had this terrible experience.

Friendly staff, fantastic bakery, awesome cakes!
A friend asked us to pick up these cakes for a party later in the day.
Staff baked us some custom cakes, and we could not have been more pleased with the results. Super tasty, and really REALLY well decorated.
We also had to grab some fresh challah bread and merrion berry tarts while we were there. I would highly recommend you do the same.

Best bakery on the Oregon coast! You have to try out there cheese bread if there's any left. It's usually gone by 10:00 a.m. so if you don't get there in time, you miss out!

Unfriendly, rude service, and the Haystack bread was not fresh. When you pay $6.50 for a loaf of bread at a bakery, you expect it to be freshly baked that morning. This was definitely day old or more.

This is potentially one of the worst businesses in Cannon Beach. The owner is tyrannical, self-righteous and thinks her business is far superior to anyone else's. She treats her employees, neighboring businesses poorly, confrontational, and disrespectful. They don't "believe in gluten-free" and are insensitive to others, customers, and those living in collaboration with community. I highly recommend skipping this bakery and going to Sea Level Bakery in Tolovana (currently a pop-up at Public Coast) who have an amazing business, French style craft pastries, community based, and owned by lovely people.
