Extremely inefficiently run!! Went for brunch on Sunday, it took an hour to get our food. They serve meals in order, which is normal, but they also prepare meals in order. Most people order crepes, but because they cook in order, you look over and the two crepe stoves are completely empty for much of the time. We tried to order bagels to-go as well, but it is apparently too difficult to put some bagels in a bag, because they waited until our order was next in line to give them out. Don't waste your time coming here if you're looking for a place to eat. Extremely inefficiently run, small portions.
Our coffee came out after waiting 30 min, and by the time our meals came out we had already finished the coffee and wanted more. But we didn't want to order more and risk having to stay another 30 min after we've finished our food.
I rarely ever leave reviews, but I was so frustrated with this place that I had to leave one. Won't ever return.

Excellent food and service!! Love that we can take the dogs and sit outside. Also love that they have Two Leaves and a Bud teas!! We visit and dine, here, every time we come up!!

I love coming to the Cafe for Sunday brunch! I always get the Eggs Benedict crepe with ham. It's my favorite! The stuffed French toast is delicious, too. Good staff, great atmosphere.

Great place to eat to get vegan fare! They sell Kombucha and probiotic sodas. Great coffee as well. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. You bus your own tables. No wait staff. Very affordable lunch.

This place is fun! I really like the cafe itself, and it's so much better that its attached to a book store. I spend too much money when I come here, but its not on the food. They have a ton of options for good prices, and then you can go upstairs and spend money on books and pet the kitties!

The staff working the register and making coffee were very helpful, although they forgot to ring me up for my dessert. However the staff making the food were very rude. They snapped at several older folks including myself when they handed our orders out and we had questions. The staff working the register didn't ring up my crepe even though I asked several times. When I got my food I asked about the crepe and the woman said everything was in the bag. After I left and realized they didn't put the crepe in, my daughter went back to get it. She was standing there listening to the staff making food complaining about me and "that old woman needed to check her ticket." I got a emailed receipt with the amount I paid, not an itemized receipt. Having second thoughts about going back after this incident.

Open 7 days a week, this cafe offers freshly prepared food, fabulous coffees, wine, and locally brewed beers. The outdoor seating area is my favorite place to sit. Animal friendly and great staff.

Cute little cafe. The food and coffee are great. I always stop by when visiting my son at WCU
