Truly our favorite coffee shop in Charlotte! Giddy Goat is perfectly located in the heart of Plaza Midwood, has a wide offering of coffees/snacks/draft beers and has SO much comfortable indoor and outdoor seating (perfect for working remotely).

This coffee shop goes above and beyond with touches like a water tap with both still & sparkling options, fresh specialty empanadas, great background music and more. No joke, I could live here - it’s that great. Keep up the amazing work, GG!

The Giddy Goat is an awesome coffee shop/cafe with great drinks and food. The Nitro coffee is some of the best I've ever had, they have a great range of empanadas, and the burritos that are available on the weekend are phenomenal. There is a ton of sitting room so this would also make a great place to come and work.

On a first visit with a friend made here yesterday, just by the surroundings, I immediately knew, the offerings here are not just made but crafted. For an experience that will delight all your senses, I highly recommend a visit to The Giddy Goat.

This place is great. I have been here 3 times now and the coffee has always been hot and fresh. I know they are famous for their empanadas but I have not ventured to try those yet. I have had the blueberry muffin 3 times now so I can attest that they have a great blueberry muffin. We met 1 of the owners and his dog last time we were here. Nicest guy and awesome dog that will allow all the pets. This is a really great operation. As a larger man I love the seating. Having a bigger posterior doesn't always fit into the hipster chairs you find at co working spaces and coffee shops you find around this area. The seating here is very comfortable for all types of posteriors. Everyone should come here. I work from home and if I ever need a place to come work. Ill definitely be coming here.

Came to this shop for some expresso. Such a cute coffee shop and has a top deck with outdoor picnic table seating as well.

Exceptional coffee shop. Plenty of different seating options as well as great Wi-Fi. Staff was friendly and attentive. You just have to try the empanadas, incredible. One of the best work away from home places in Charlotte.

Giddy Goat is a wonderful addition to the commonwealth. It is consistently slammed!

Cons: parking. The parking sucks. Since it's always busy here the parking lot is regularly full. Furthermore... the empanadas. The flavor is on point. I've tried every empanada and honestly I love them but sometimes I can't get past the raw dough in the middle and on the bottom. They need a minimum of another 5 minutes in the oven since they aren't fried. Check the bottoms! I would love to see the crust a more golden brown across the entire pastry and not just a few spots on the top.

Pros: coffee! Love that they roast their own coffee. It's delicious. The staff that serves it up is always polite, personable, and kind. The overall environment at giddy goat is amazing. A great sense of community. You can tell that people love coming here. The atmosphere is perfect for meet ups, business, college students, family. I also love that GG does coffee and workouts, yoga and coffee, and dance lessons. There's also live music almost every week and tons of local art for sale.

I come here regularly and will continue to do so. As soon as I see those empanadas not as raw.. the 5th star will come.

Absolutely love this place. We go here at least once a week if not more. Breakfast burritos are amazing, and coffee drinks are consistently really good.
