My absolute favorite spot to go in my neighborhood. The people are awesome, great vibe and energy, and last but not least the FOOD and COFFEE are TOP TIER :)

I was able to try many local roaster at a recent event for coffee. Out of all the brands I tried, this was 1 of the top 2. They gave away free empanadas at the event, turns out they make and sell wonderful onces. Ate a breakfast empanada and a cappuccino and bought 3 bags of the deliciously fresh roaster coffee for later.

Great spot. The owner is very enthusiastic and passionate about roasting coffee. Very knowledgeable and willing to share information on roasting, bean sources, temperatures and flavors. The store is filled with the aroma of the roasters, has a friendly staff, with a comfortable and relaxing lounge. The coffee is great with a large variety to choose from.

I’m not much of a coffee person but the food here is… AWESOME! I was very impressed. They make everything in house and that to me is great. Keep it up Giddy Goat staff!!!

I dare you to find me a better breakfast burrito in CLT. I was initially skeptical after hearing so much fanfare, but it was legit. Distributed seasoning and the right textures are pretty tough to nail, and they crushed it.
The lemon blueberry scone was different in a wonderful way as the blueberry created a jammy middle layer. The empanadas are tasty, and we appreciate having a vegan option for my egg-free kiddo.
Coffee is pretty good, not great. But they have a great vibe that makes the visit worthwhile.

As an Argentinian, I can say that the empanadas are the best!
Of course, I had to order what we call “medialunas con dulce de leche” (pastries) omg, if you have not yet tried the dulce de leche, this is the best in Charlotte.
The place is amazing, with a lot of different options that you can choose from sitting outside, rooftop, or inside. I love the distance between tables.
The great environment relaxes you. I was just looking at the people inside while I was enjoying my empanadas outside, and you can feel the positive vibes are in the air!
Grab your laptop, tablet, or phone, wifi available, delicious coffee and enjoy!

I had a mocha and their Goat burrito. 11/10 would go again.

Great local coffee shop with breakfast items. The staff were friendly and there were multiple seating options on the first and second floors as well as outside.

Lovely little coffee shop in the city. The coffee and scones are wonderful, you must stop by if you’re in the area! The views are amazing this time of year as the shop is all opened up and you can sit to enjoy the sights and food.

The Giddy Goat is a coffee shop and roaster located in Plaza Midwood in the former Sushi Guru space. It has indoor and outdoor seating; an espresso bar; breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snack menus; and beer, wine, and cocktails in the evening.
This incredible coffee shop came HIGHLY recommended by a local. Very attractive indoor and outdoor space. Locally owned by Rhyne Davis along with co-founder Carson Clough. Giddy proudly serves all coffee roasted in-house. 3 cold brew coffee blends on tap. Self-serve water station with the sparkling option, beautiful patio, and rooftop
The mural on the side of Giddy Goat is by Darion Fleming, aka Da. Flemingo. Darion is a Charlotte local by way of Washington D.C. Darion stopped doing art midway through high school and delightfully picked it back up in the past few years. The exact address is 1217 The Plaza next to Whiskey Warehouse and across the street from Supperland restaurant.
