Decent mostly vegetarian spot. It can be really busy and there will be a wait for food, especially if anything you order needs to be cooked. Call ahead or order on line if you are in a hurry.

Their online ordering system is such a hassle - after each item it kicked me all the way out, and after going in back several times and getting all the items I wanted added it made me make an account, and then confirm it, and now insists my username or password is wrong after confirming. I tried a dozen times. I gave up. Not very accessible for a neurodivergent person.

I love the clean look, the delicious healthy food, and the baristas were very kind and checked on me in the dining room. Oh, and the chai latte? Forget Starbucks- this is my go to from now on. I want to try their juices!

While having lunch today with my sister, I was mocked repeatedly by the girl at the register about my service dog. Whether she is just ignorant, rude, or hateful, I will not visit this place again.

Seriously so they have free refills on the cold brew. But fill cup with ice. Have 2 sizes and this small cup is like a baby cup. Then when you say you don’t need room for cream they still leave room for cream.

Great vegan options. The marinsted tofu had a nice dark crust to it.. The sourdough toast was greasy, but love that they had nice jam.

If you're trying to eat better. If you want the best smoothie in Asheville. Deep Purple & Strawberry Fields are certainly great smoothies. The Havana Bowl, Turkey Reuben,& Avocado BLT with a side of Lox. You really can't go wrong with the selection that Green Sage has. The restaurant is always clean. A top notch staff who are very helpful. Communication between the employees & customers are spot on.

Don’t love leaving bad reviews but this place is just not worth it. We got two breakfast sandwiches at a time when there was no line and the restaurant was pretty empty, and our food took 25 minutes. When it finally came, the add-ons I had ordered were missing, and the folks behind the counter had a huge attitude about me nicely asking for them to fix it. For the stuff that did make it on the sandwich, the portion was very skimpy - 1 tiny piece of turkey bacon that doesn’t even cover half the sandwich and the tiniest hint of mayo you’ve ever seen.

I’ll also add that the ladies next to us asked for clarity on what the “good life bowl” vs “zen bowl” was because they couldn’t remember what they ordered (understandable, those names are not descriptive at all), and the server was very rude and put off about the question as if it just wasn’t her problem.

Finally, there’s a mandatory 10% service charge which I understand, but then when the food takes forever, comes out disappointing, and you have to bus your own tables, it just doesn’t make that much sense anymore.

Crew was great. Food was ok, coffee ok. What caught me eye was the “service fee of 10% added on” to provide a living wage to the back of house. Really? How about actually pay them a living wage and not advertising you’re not? Then they give you a chance to to the waitress. Do better.

I love their breakfast burrito. It's so filling, it always takes me two meals to finish! The atmosphere is great- art, music, people, lighting. And there are plenty of different seating options, including outdoors.
