It was just ok. The price is what will keep me away, $40 for 2 of us to eat lunch was a bit much, now this included tip but still. The burger was ok, it was thin and really didn't have much taste. Atmosphere was comparable to Panara Bread Co.

Awesome! So many yummy options for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores. Great atmosphere.

Had brunch here, ordered a turkey sub and an avocado BLT. Portions were small, sandwiches tasted okay. Very pricy for the quantity and quality of food. ~$11-12 for each sandwich. Not very good value for the price

My wife has dairy and gluten allergies so we struggle to find places she can eat. This is by far the best breakfast and coffee place we've found.

Great selection of healthy breakfast choices. Great coffee. Glad we went here instead of downtown. Wasn’t busy @ 8:30am.

The root hash is my new fav 😍😋 I usually get the “gimme kale” since they serve breakfast all day 🙌🏾 but today I decided to try the root hash since I was getting a smoothie too. Excellent price and amazing flavor 😋 They use kits for the smoothies so you can’t customize them 😕 I was craving a green smoothie but I didn’t like a lot of the items in the “Green Day” they offered. I didn’t like some of what was in the “Deep Purple” I got, but it had slightly more of what I liked than didn’t like so I went with that. Unfortunately I still didn’t like it 😕. The guy cashier was super nice though and apologized that my order was sitting waiting to be picked up from the kitchen window and given to me. It wasn’t his fault though, he was working the register and someone else was making drinks and getting items, but it seems my order kept being overlooked so he went and got it for me.

Chipotle Quinoa Bowl is a game changer.
Hint- Get the falafel.

Some of the items were yummy, some not so much. In their defense they were out of several key items so that might have made a difference. If we could have gotten what we ordered it might have been better (example was that they subbed ginger dressing for tahini with falafel bowl. Definitely changed the flavor profile. Feta cheese in spinach feta omlette was weird so maybe that was a substitute too)

I will add a star once the pancakes are vegan and the build your own breakfast sandwich returns. I do love this place though. Bring it to other parts of North Carolina, please!

Everything is made to order from high quality all-natural ingredients (not sure how much from local farms though). Excellent menu with options for every pallet at any time of the day. The grass fed burger was thin, lean, a bit tough and overcooked (we asked for med-well but should have asked for medium considering how thin and lean the patty was). The soup and salad combo was excellent as were the sweet potato fries. Overall a great place to eat, but a bit pricey (likely owing to the very high quality ingredients) and there are slightly more affordable options nearby with similar quality and taste. We'll definitely eat at GSC more often now that we've finally tried it.
