Leo (the dog) and the rest of the staff at Josie's were great. My group ordered food, coffee, lattes, and teas and everything was 5/5 star quality and presentation. There are a lot of cafe and coffee shops in the neighborhood, but I highly recommend this particular one. So cute and well run. Makes me want to come back through and try more menu items!

The ambience is fantastic, you can totally relax with a cuppa of coffee. Do try their homemade pancakes! It is really good. The staff are friendly and great too. Awesome cafe. Thumbs up!

Best coffee and vibe in Saugerties for sure and a whole Kingston area. Oat milk latte is amazing. Breakfast dishes with eggs are delicious! Avocado toast, egg sandwich, omelettes-everything is great! And Leo is a welcoming fluffy host!

Good food at decent price......but the coffee was a disappointment. Neither one enjoyed the coffee but we are willing to assume it was an off day\pot for some reason. What we really found annoying/ offensive!/ Insensitive was the perfumed products being sold in close quarters where people were eating. They have a variety of gift items and, of course, that's fine. However, anyone who owns a restaurant should know better than to have heavily perfumed items
in competition with the fragrance of the food. Also, the bathroom was impossible!!! A. scented candle burning and a. diffuser! We were both only in the bathroom for a minute each and that was just before we left. When we got back into the car, despite the fact it was a cool day, we had to keep all the windows open for the next hour as we were covered in the smell of cheap perfume. I would image that going in for take-out would be an option. Still, it is an attractive place with a nice menu and it would be oh so lovely if we felt comfortable eating inside.

Super chill vibes, easy jazz music, bold coffee, and an eclectic set up. You can buy succulents and rugs- if that doesn’t tell you the vibe I don’t know what will. The barista was very accommodating to my gluten and dairy intolerance and the gluten free bagel was delicious. Coffee is good too.

The best iced matcha you’ll find & delicious menu with a nice variety of options depending on your palate. I also can’t leave this place without buying a candle or a gift for someone. Best cafe around!

Super cute spot .. stopped in early on a Saturday morning, coffee and pastries were fresh and tasty and the breakfast special sandwich delicious. One of those places where you feel the love that's gone into making it. We'll be home back for sure!

The food, the atmosphere, the dog....my husband and I had a phenomenal time. We'll definitely be back.

Josie's Coffee Shoppe is a true gem and was one of the highlights of our weekend trip to Saugerties. The cafe was so cozy inside with homey decor; it was a perfect place to enjoy breakfast, as well as a nice place to relax. The coffee is great and the food is fantastic! We ordered the pancakes and pumpkin spice french toast, which were absolutely delicious. We loved our experience so much that we ended up coming two days in a row!

Josie’s ice latte was delicious, we were planning on just having coffee but after seeing the pastries it was impossible. The barista offered to heat up our chocolate croissant so it was warm and flaky. We also ordered a BLT and happily the bacon wasn’t undercooked. The atmosphere is both chic and comfortable, exactly what we wanted in an upstate coffee shop.
