Visited here for breakfast 5 years ago when they were Cassie's. Now they are Chappie's. Great food and service with local beef. The steak melts in your mouth. Burger was yummy.
Update: we went back hoping for the same experience, and received lazy service from the waitress. She took very long to take our order, and generally seemed annoyed for some reason. Our pizza came out slightly warm, not hot, and so did our burger. They weren't very busy, so I'm not sure what was going on. Hard for us to consider going back after this. Went from 4 stars to 2 stars.

If you are looking for an hour and a half wait for a burger this is your spot. After waiting over an hour, and wanting to leave, I asked for the check for our drinks and they said our food was currently being plated. This was not true as it still took another ten minutes for a cheeseburger and a veggie burger to come out of the kitchen. The waiter did not clarify why it took so long, they just wanted to make light jokes. Clearly this place was incapable of taking on the service it signed up for. Either be a take-out place exclusively or figure out how to balance both. Hour and a half for a fifteen minute meal is not worth it.

Food is ok if you're willing to wait an eternity to be served. Over 45 mins for a soup, and I lost track of how long the rest of the lunch order took. No communication from staff, they acted like we should just be happy they took our order.
Mid day on a Sunday, and not very busy.. this stop was a huge mistake.

Waitress took our order. Brought out drinks and never came back to check on us. 1 hour later, we asked about our food and they told us there was a mistake with the cook. They took full responsibility for it and covered the bill but this is all on the waitress, she never came to ask us if we wanted another beer or anything. Very disappointing for a first time experience.

Felt like an outsider when walking in, we were sat at a table then waited 15 minutes to even be asked what we wanted to drink as the waiter walked by our table 5x and then said oh I didn't see you there. Waited another 30 plus minutes to get our food. If you aren't a local I wouldn't bother going. The one older waiter that is British was the only nice person at the place, you need to hire more people like him with a bubbly attitude!

My fiance and I are staying at the Roxbury in. We were hungry after a long day of exploring. We both work in the resturant industry in a very busy tourist town in upstate NY. My order was simple. 12 buffalo wings and an order of spinach dip with pita. I want to start by saying the dip was excellent, wings were spiced well. But I stood in the dinning room for close to an hour waiting. While I was waiting I looked around and noticed the service. Service is very slow and lacks attention to customers. Servers drop food on tables and just walk away expecting the table is all set. I watched a server pour a vodka tonic and let me tell ya it was all vodka and no tonic. I watched as it took 20 mins for a 4 top to receive simple drinks. The resturant had no more than 11 people inside at this time. But the staff seemed overwhelmed. Kitchen does not communicate with servers which can lead to cold food. I watched as the wings I ordered sat in the window for a go 15 mins before I got them. Chef never said a word to anybody about the order being done. So how are The servers suppose to know? I have more to add but im not gonna waste my breath. Food was good, service was poor from what I watched. If this resturant was in lake placid NY it would not survive a month. I hope they get it together.

Delicious food! We had takeout, but the atmosphere looked great for dine in. Everything was amazing—. From the Thai cauliflower soup to the wings and pizza. The staff was very friendly as well. We had been to this location when it was Cassie’s (always good), but this is definitely a more gourmet experience with reasonable prices. I read about the owner’ extensive culinary resume and it really shows in this establishment.

The meal was outstanding. My wife ordered the warm salmon salad and said the salmon was perfectly cooked. I ordered a burger and fries. You could tell the beef was fresh ground. The menu says it's from a local farm. The fries were homemade. Similar to Five Guys. The menu I would call upscale tavern. The service was excellent as well.

My buddys and I went there for a great breakfast and amazing Bloody Mary's.

Ate a terrific brunch/lunch as well as dinner at Chappies this weekend. If you are visiting the area and don't stop in for a Bloody Mary, you are missing out. Perfectly done! We had a pot of mussels with fresh bread and fries (to die for) as well as the salmon special over zucchini and mash. Food was spot on, overall. Ambiance is warm and fun and service was professional - we loved the playlist! Will definitely be back when we are in town next.
