I've been coming here for a couple of years. Twice during the Winter. Never had a bad meal. Never got a meal that even just OK. Every meal I've had was delicious.
1st night I had a burger and homemade vegetable soup. Delicious!!
Second days dinner was onion soup and artichoke dip wit pit chips. Also DELICIOUS!!!
Only draw back is that if you like to sit at the bar there are only two seats.
Sorry about some of the pictures but they have light bulbs that are camera shy.
I can't forget the staff. Nobody would come if they had a bad staff. Waitresses all VERY nice and know their job. All very social and know how to treat customers. I had a question about something I was about to order. The chef came out and explained it. I ever spoke at a bus boy for about 10 minutes

Really great food, service and atmosphere.
The burger had a great toast on the bun for terrific crunch. I added an egg and that was amazing. The beef is delicious.
Hubby is vegan so he had a veggie pizza without cheese. They added black beans for his protein.
Super sweet server who was alone but got it all done with a smile.
We will definitely go back.

Time to get seated took 5 minutes, time to get water + menus were about 30 minutes, and food took about an hour to get to us after we got seated.
The pizza was inconsistent. One pie tasted like papa John’s, the other tasted and looked terrible. The soda was flat and tasted like roses. The fries looked like they had collected everyone’s leftover fries from previous orders, and reheated them and served it. The cuts of the fries were inconsistent. The wings were not only dry and crusty as though they were made earlier in the day and microwaved, but they forgot to put the sauce on it before serving it.
1/5.

I have no clue how this place has 4+ stars. We ordered 2 cheese pizzas, 12 Buffalo wings, truffle fries and beers, after waiting 30 mins to order. A frozen chuck-e-cheese pizza is probably better than whatever it is that we just got (especially for this price). Also, we are pretty sure they did not have the same type of cheese on the pizzas. The wings had no sauce, honestly, the best part of my meal was the beer. I don’t post much, but this was such a disappointment, that I had to.

We stopped in Monday night without a reservation, we got lucky. They were very friendly and service was excellent.
There is parking on the street.
We had a party of eight and no complaints whatsoever, nothing but compliments to the staff and service.

Ultra friendly owner and the food is divine! My girl gets wings and French onion soup everywhere we go. She said this was the best she's ever had. The burger was top notch as well. Solid five stars for this establishment. Thanks James!

One of the few nice restaurants in Roxbury with good food. Everything we ordered from the menu tasted scrumptious. The French onion soup, the tiger pizza (highly recommend it), veggie burger, salmon, everything was delicious. It’s a small but fun restaurant to hangout for drinks and food. They were short staffed the day we visited, had only one server for the entire restaurant, so food took longer to come. But, our server was excellent. Kid friendly, casual, fun place with good service.

I travel for work and eat in restaurants everyday of the week, I never leave reviews for them. However Chappies is very lacking in a lot of ways.
I ordered the French onion soup for starters and it arrived smelling burnt and tasting like onions boiled in water. Try adding some salt or perhaps beef broth to it. It was by far the worse tasting French onion soup I have ever eaten.
I ordered the burger from the mains menu for dinner. It was extremely blah, the only flavor it had was an extreme game taste. You can tell it's grass fed beef for sure. It was not served on a brioche bun as advertised and it did not come with horseradish aioli. The fries were over cooked, they looked great but when you bit into them they were complete mush. I hardly ever order burgers and this restaurant just made sure I stick to other foods.
The man who waited on me seemed annoyed I was there to eat, it was 6pm. The lady waitress running around at least smiled. She ended up taking my soup bowl and bringing me my burger. She was super nice. The man however finally showed up 20 minutes after my food had arrived to see how it was. He acted even more annoyed when he took my plate and it had half a burger and almost all the fries on it and I didn't want a box. News for you try adding some flavor to your food, then I guarantee I would have taken the leftovers.
I will never return or recommend this restaurant to anyone ever.

I used to eat at Chappies every few weeks and always a great place. Went there for Halloween and staff was all dressed in costumes. Food is always good, burgers, steak, food specials and desserts.
Staff was always on top of the things and service was good, outdoor seating as well with heat lamps. Decent local craft beer selection and small bar but it's a small place in general.
Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Loved this place! My British son-in-law, enjoyed a FULL and proper English breakfast. Bountiful portions and welcoming atmosphere.
