Good food! Slow kitchen. Waitstaff mixed. The guys were friendly, enthusiastic and committed to customer service. One guy noted how long we were waiting and comped us on a plate of fries. Major exception was the lone female, a very slender person whose skills were even slimmer. Spent most of her time pecking on a screen while we were sitting 8 ft away from her. Even ignored my wife when she got up and stood near her politely waiting to be noticed. When she finally came to our table, she couldn't remember our order. Made no apologies. I'm a former waiter so she cost Chappie's 2 stars.
Gotta say here that post-covid reviews are not really fair. Staffing issues are huge and patrons have to take that into account. The minor issues should be ignored.
Also gotta say the fries were GREAT! WELL done just the way I like them!
Had a bit of "cotton mouth" after leaving–something that usually happens with detergent residue on dish/glassware. It happens.

I called to order for delivery, someone answered the phone right away...they were extremely pleasant and we even shared a few laughs. I ordered a couple pizzas, soup and chicken fingers. I can say the soups were fantastic, pizza was decent and the chicken fingers were delish. Definitely worth checking out!

By far one of the best burgers, the aioli is a perfect addition. The pizza’s are also incredible, and they have nightly specials so don’t forget to ask. We love Mike the chef, not only does he make great food, he also helped us out one night when we got a flat outside the restaurant. Jessica always provides the best service, she’s super friendly, make sure you ask for her! This place treats their guests like family, totally worth checking out!

For the price the food was not worth it. We ordered two drinks, a burger and chicken. The chicken tenders could have been out of a grocery freeze and the garlic parm sauce was just oil with some chopped garlic and parmesan sprinkled in. My burger was okay. My drink was delicious but it was about two sips worth. Service was slow but they were very busy and it appeared only one server and one cook were working.

Went here on 11/11/2022 with my family because we were up in those parts for a wedding over the weekend. Friday night we needed dinner. It was either the old mill, or Chappies. I looked up their food and noticed that they had a hamburger, which was originally what i wanted. We traveled by car because there were no sidewalks from the hotel. There is parking next to the restaurant. We got out, walked in and got sat right away. We also got there just as they opened which was at 5:00PM. Cute little rustic restaurant. Our server helped us right away, and served us waters, and my dad got a beer. For dinner, i ordered the chicken pot pie special because it sounded amazing. My dad got a burger, and my mom got the fried chicken sliders. 2 more people joined us, and were able to sit accross from each other. They both ordered a burger as well. although they forgot to add pickles and have no onions! it's okay tho. We enjoyed all of our food. i especially enjoyed the chicken pot pie special, which was creamy with soft potatoes, and carrots. very much enjoyed it. Don't think we'd go to roxbury again anytime soon, but if i do, this place seems well! Thanks for the food!

We looked them up and saw they were open for lunch. Upon arriving, we were told they were closed. Even the front door had posted hours saying they were open. We sadly came back for dinner to a sticky table, slow service, and out of several vegan options. They messed up our pizza order, waited 30 min to tell us, then gave us 1 small serving of squash and 1 order of fries for $20. Our waitress did not return, so I stood up and waited at the register to pay the bill. 15 minutes later, she asks me if I needed to pay the bill. No, I am standing here for the fun of it. Go to Watershed. It is a much better and friendlier experience.

The food is good but I suspect they are experiencing staffing issues.
We were the last available table outside on a sunny weekend and Enjoyed our meal. By the time we left every table (all five outside) and four table inside all had dirty dishes on them. Not sure why no one bussed the tables, there were two waitresses.
I considered doing it myself to help out but there was no visible bussing station so we paid and left.

If you’re hungry and want to get your food relatively fast, don’t come to this restaurant. We waited 30 minutes for the waitress to come and take our order, over an hour for chicken wings and chicken fingers. Then we waited another 40 minutes for a pizza and a burger. It’s unbelievable and unacceptable. I wish the waitress gave us a notice when we sat down that it’s going to take that long. We literally killed the entire evening at the restaurant for some mediocre food. The waitress kept apologizing for the wait, but it doesn’t change the situation. When she finally brought my pizza it was barely warm. All in all we came there at 7:15 and left at 9:30pm… Just stay away from this place.

Great food and wonderful staff!! The steak frits was delicious and perfectly cooked. The grilled cheese and soup were perfect. The staff were attentive and even though busy, they always checked on us and made sure our dinning experience was the best.
