My expectations of this restaurants was very positive based on recommendations from my hotel, however, after placing an order it was very clear that their service was sub par and the food was not worth the cost. Their salad for lack of better words seemed like something of a supermarket shelf ,the grilled chicken was cold and bland. The dressing sub par and the entire presentation was average. The smoked trout had much better presentation but again was something that I could have had better at a local delicatessen. Would not dine here again.

Terrible and embarrassing. Overcooked to dry brown dust french fries they expressed were to be great. Overcooked to well medium burger. Overcooked and under seasoned salmon specials. Mediocre pizza. Generally bland everything. Out of 2 items on their menu. They need help.

Food was way overpriced, gallery does not represent what you actually get. Only reason one could justify their good reviews is that they are in the middle of nowhere. Confident to say that we will not be ordering again. 67 dollars down the drain... take the drive into another nearby town and try your luck there instead... guy delivering takeout actually laughed when he said "enjoy."

In fairness, the place was understaffed and hopping. However, Chappies was a loud and disappointing experience. The service was terrible as fought to get water, condiments, menu items we ordered and the bill. The servers chatted much with one another and didn’t care that we had asked for things and weren’t getting them. The Bloody Mary was the last of a batch and so spicy as to be undrinkable. We told the server but she didn’t bat an eye or offer to make another. The veg burger was fine but no aioli as listed and when we inquired about getting some, nothing happened. Cannot recommend and will not return.

We walked in and waited at least 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. Then sat at a sub-par table (ok), with scum on table not cleaned. No menus and servers having no interest in helping us. Waited another 10 minutes before an 8 year old customer next to us asked how come it was taking so long to get drinks. They can’t handle a crowd (4 tables). We got up and walked out and went to old stone mill, same owners so that baffles me. Had a fantastic experience with superb service and excellent food. The servers T old stone mill actually wanted to help customers but the Chappies folks could care less.

I was looking forward to going to this restaurant. My husband ordered pizza well done. It came out black on the bottom. Someone, perhaps the owner tried to justify the pizza saying we asked for "crispy". Didn't want black burnt pizza. The pizza was remade and perfectly well done. I had a chicken pesto sandwich that was delicious. The main problem I had was the price of the fountain soda. The glass was may be 8 oz but I will say 6 oz with ice. The price - $5!!!! Refills were NOT free!!! I drink a lot of soda and I have never in my life paid that much. I expect to pay for a good meal, but not for a fountain soda. When I inquired about the price after seeing $15 for 3 sodas, I was told that it was indeed correct but for me, they would only charge me for one soda.

Wonderful service and hospitality. The Buffalo wings were amazing! They’re on the spicy side and the wings have a dry rub on them. Incredible flavor. Some of the best I’ve ever had. We also had the snicker doodle pie and blackberry rhubarb pie. Both were delicious. I don’t even like nuts in pie, but that didn’t stop me from finishing off the snicker doodle.

This review is for the terrible customer service and not the actual food because we never actually got to eat it. I called Chappie's over a month before an event we were having in Roxbury. I asked if they could accommodate an order for 30 pies of pizza the night before our event and was assured they could but I'd just need to contact them again the Monday before the event. I called that Monday and was told that someone would call me back by end of day to confirm what we wanted to order. I never heard back from anyone and when I called back, I was on hold for 10 mins before I had to hang up and when I tried to call back, no one answered. In the voicemail, they asked that orders be emailed to them so I tried to contact them via email. No answer until the day before we needed the pizza and that was only to say they were too busy to accommodate the order. I replied letting the owner know what had happened and got no response or any kind of apology.

Yummy food. Vegetarian-friendly. Try the veggie burger with an egg and chimichurri aioli. 😋

I had high hopes but unfortunately, this was not the case.
This place has a lovely atmosphere and could be quant if the staff was at all approachable or in any way friendly, the staff is horrible. Our waitress was nasty and rude and made us feel like we were not welcome and a burden to her.
The food: it was given a good attempt and I will give them that, I had the roasted beet and goat cheese salad (I ate half), and another member had a burger that was very gamey.
If I am paying ALOT of hard earned money for a nice evening out, I expect to get at least treated with respect in return, the food I can forgo but please have the decency to not treat my party like we are inconveniencing you.
This is attempt #3 at this establishment and will be my last unfortunately.
