Outstanding coffee! I live out of state now but I always stop by to fill up on their encyclopedic offering of whole bean coffee both flavored and regular. From Strong Hospital to Monroe Plaza, Finger Lakes Coffee cannot be beat!

One of the best and cleanest coffee shops in rochester. Always has a nice selection of local art! The baristas are extremely kind! Pastries change alot but they always taste wonderful!

Stopped in to pick up some beans of Jamaican me crazy. Really good stuff.
Now the reason why they get three stars.
The two cups of coffee we got to go were very watered down. Not what I would expect from a coffee shop.
We will continue to buy the beans here but go to McDonald's and pay a buck for a better cup of coffee to go.

A great little local coffee shop. SOLID espresso: I drink a double espresso with a little cream, so good espresso is a must for me. Kind staff and yummy baked goods.

Such lovely people and delicious coffee. I did feel like the wifi was a bit slow but otherwise it was a great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

The location is great and so are the staff. However, the coffee is no better than what you get at McDonald's. Even their dark roast is too weak & bland compared to Starbucks'. The space is a long & narrow rectangle. Therefore the seating arrangement is awkward & boring.
The coffee definitely needs revamping. I would seek the help of coffee experts & perhaps an interior designer.

The people who work here must be so stupid. I cannot tell you how many times I have called and asked if a certain coffee was brewed that particular day and they say yes. So I drive all the way in from out of town and they don't have the coffee that they said they did. When I question them about it they just say that I must not have asked if it was brewed. But I always make that very clear.. But I always make that very clear. They apologize that they don't know who answered the phone. Unbelievable!

Even before you walk in you can smell the aroma of fresh ground coffee and beans. The staff is very friendly. Coffee is available pre-made, pre-ground, or whole bean. There are many flavors to choose from in both regular and decaf. Tables are available too if you want to sit down and relax with a cup of joe. I frequently see young people with laptops (students maybe?) enjoying study time.
Beans are in containers with a scoop opening to smell each one. The most difficult part of my trip there was choosing a flavor. If you drink coffee, check out Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters.

I asked for a dark roast strong coffee and what I received was a luke warm watered down version and they didn't put the lid on all of the way spilling it on my chest. The only consultation is that it was like warm coffee instead of HOT so I didn't burn myself. Guess who will never become a repeat customer.
