Village Bakery & Cafe, Pittsford NY

I love Village Bakery! We usually go to the Victor location (in the Eastview Mall) but the menu (I think) is the same here and all the food is excellent! The space in Pittsford is a little bigger if you are looking for a sit down breakfast/lunch. Village Bakery is really great with allergies/dietary restrictions and all of the sandwiches I've tried are so good! They bake their own bread and the sourdough is excellent. I love all of their coffee drinks too!

I had the stuffed french toast and a cafe Carmel and my wife got the grilled cheese and cooler cucumber. Everything was outstanding!!! The staff were really nice and the place was very clean. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Lol

Consistently delicious food and quality coffee drinks. The macaroons are always a good choice. Great place to enjoy a relaxing morning.

Granted that it was Sunday morning-11am hour-probably their busiest time on the weekend. The kitchen and the servers were not talking to one another. I saw orders piling up on the counter to be served and people waiting. The two servers appeared to be confused. . .they were scrolling the order screen back and forth.

I ordered the ham and cheese sub (Jambon Beurre). The bread (baguette) was very good.

A sub from Subway or Wegmans is put together better. Whatever the sub is stuffed with; the ingredients should fill the roll from one end to the other. With the sub I had this morning, there was a slice of cheese and a sprinkling of ham (looked like less than an oz) placed at the front of the roll. The roll was supposed to be buttered. I didn't see or taste it.

I have no doubt that the bakery's costs for provisions have gone up, but when your product looks like you are cuttiing corners. . . I understand the need for portion control, but even Subway takes the time to make their subs look adequate.

Price. The price isn't unreasonable, provided the sub was adequately put together; what I had looked like someone was in a rush to get out of the kitchen.

But what you charge for drinks. $3.15 for a can of Polar Seltzer. Seriously?

Food and drinks are delicious and I appreciate the gluten free options, but the food preparation isn't always consistent and can be hit or miss. Sometimes it can also be tricky to find a table, but just because it's a great breakfast spot.

Expensive, long wait times, inconsistent quality, not enough staff to keep up with volume.

Another of my wife's favorite places. Got a nice bacon, egg and cheese croissant and a French toast coffe. Little Haggis had to stay in the car... 🤣

I totally love the food here and their brunch is out of this world. They have an awesome menu selection and the prices are very reasonable too.

Love love love it here! Open at 6am and great for breakfast and brunch. You can’t go wrong with anything here!!

They have very nice employees! Also I love getting their egg salad sandwich. At first I thought it would just taste “blah” but it is surprising sooo good!! It’s my favorite menu item.
