Just walked in to the store in greenport for a cup of ice coffee . We were blessed enough to get a tasting and education from Aldo himself. His coffee is the freshest , we’ll balanced , non acidic best coffee I’ve ever had. I’m a loyal customer and only order from his website for my home . Service is very quick , site is easy , and well detailed about each of the coffees. My absolute favorite is Seductive Blend but I order at least 4 bags a month and freshly ground myself. It so HARD to get a great cup of coffee anywhere else now. It’s like fine wine !!!!

Truly my favorite coffee...in the world. I live in NYC but dream of Aldo’s coffee! It’s always my #1 priority when I’m back in Greenport. I recommend their ice coffee in particular since it’s not watered down in the slightest. Aldo’s brews are bold and strong which is exactly how I like it. Hope to be back soon.

Best biscotti anywhere!! Crispy scones (not the heavy, dense kind). Coffee is freshly roasted, of course, strong and simply divine. The regular coffee poured the day I was there was made with their “Orient Espresso”
beans - smooth and rich. Aldo’s is best enjoyed in the off-season when you can linger and savor...

The ice coffee here is all the fuel you need for the day ahead! Such a wonderful shop. Great selection and relaxing backyard.

Not great the white haired man who I assume was Aldo was berating what appeared to be a new employee. Felt sorry for the woman. I was visiting the area and it was one of those places that looked cute but terrible ambience. I get times are tough but it looked like a poorly run business. Ordered a latte it tastes like old lavaza ground espresso . Yuck .

This place was terrible. Maybe it was just because of their construction project throwing off their routine but the staff was not helpful. First things first, as I walk in to the place I see what looks like the owner steaming some milk. I've been to many MANY coffee shops and have lived with trained baristas and have never heard noises coming from a steaming wand like this. Imagine a screaming goat mixed with a power tool. Then as I'm waiting in line the woman in front of me asks for some more almond milk because the coffee was too dark. The person behind the counter says that adding more milk won't change the color because it's coffee. I've never heard or seen that before. Then third, as I step up to the counter I expected someone to say "we will be right with you" or "hold on a second". Instead I'm standing there for at least 5 minutes while they are calling out other people's orders. I then ask, we do order here right? Not online or anything. Then they finally say yes, I will be right with you. Then I get my coffee. At this point I only have myself to blame. This stuff is barely coffee. It's so over roasted that you can quite literally taste the charr of the bean in your mouth. If you are not into drinking Starbucks coffee that was then lit on fire and then served to you I would avoid this place. (For the coffee nuts) They probably second cracked their coffee at 15 minutes and then thought they would get a third crack in before realizing they had no idea what they were doing.

Shame, I heard the coffee was good and wanted to try it, but too bad the person at the counter was more concerned with supplying more then one person with a 20 cent mask than actually making a profit on their goods. Kind of rude, offered to take our order outside, didn’t have printed menus to do so.

I recently dined in here.
I had a cup of the Orient Espresso, which tasted burnt. I almost spit it out.
Several previous posters and I had the same experience.
Suggestion; Before purchasing any coffee from Aldo’s, tell the server that you want to first see or smell some of the beans or grinds.
I am out $7.50 for a wasted cup of coffee.
I am giving Aldo’s four stars because the hot chocolate and biscotti were delicious.

My favorite coffee place in Greenport. Everything is fresh and the scones are some of the best scones I’ve ever had

Love the atmosphere here. I have never had anything bad; the croissants, coffee, everything has been a hit for me. The window seats are my favorite :)
