One of our must do's in Greenport is to visit with Aldo who's take on life is unique and interesting. Ditto his coffee, scones and biscotti. Love the coffee ( best for me ) and especially iced during the summer. Sit out back and enjoy. Highly recommend the scones! Will return...

Had an omelet that was so overdone. No taste, the peppers were sogggy and the ham was burnt, could not see the cheese. Coffee came warm had to send back to be heated in microwave. The sweet breakfast roll was delicious and they served real butter. That was nice. Hubbys french fries were excellent. Our server was very nice, that’s why we left a 20% tip on an over charged meal. Will not return. Quite dissapointed. Sorry.

#day36 of the quarantine and I MISS ALDO! Sure, I'll order online when I run out but it's the cafe and conversation with THE MAN that I crave. If you're new to Greenport or the North Fork, you will not find a more robust espresso anywhere...or a more caring soul.

Great coffee and croissants and fresh orange juice. Friendly staff often struggling to meet demand...But Aldo is aloof and not friendly. We go there often on week ends and have tried to engage with him to no avail...He knows us and will say hello back if we say hello to him (or bonjour as we try), but if we do not say hello, he will look at us and simply ignore us. What a strange way to greet customers. This may be cultural (Aldo is French) but we are in America. He needs to be nicer to his customers in my opinion.

To get coffee at Aldo's is to step into Aldo's head. The man understands coffee at a level that transcends the beverage. Bags of beans are everywhere. There are plenty of tables, but it's no Starbucks, because the coffee and experience are so much better.

Aldo's is a must stop place if you're on the North Fork the coffee is exceptional and my favorite is the earthy and seductive blend. Get yourself an iced black and a chocolate croissant and breathe in the Salt Air. Aldo's is a true gem in Greenport.

Operate a coffee roaster right next to the front door. Nice interior. I had a double shot of espresso, but it was bitter and not very flavorful. Maybe the machine was too cold? The price was good, though.

Aldo makes world-class coffee. He roasts only enough for each day in the 'Frisco roaster at the front of the shop and uses great beans. You have to go to Stumptown, Intelligensia or one of the boutique roasters in Manhattan to come close. It's that good.

Got a cappuccino here but it was so bitter I could barely drink it. The person at the register was nice enough to make me a new one but sadly that one was just as bitter. Not sure what’s goin on with the espresso but might want to try somethin new?

Every time I'm in Greenport I have to stop and buy a few pounds of fresh coffee. The man is a master roaster
