The place is definitely worth the visit. Great atmosphere inside. Cozy atmosphere outside. The people working there were the best! They were kind, patient, and above all else truly honest about the portion size. We would have ordered way too much food. The portions are big especially talking about paella. Menu states that paella should be shared by two people, but five of us ladies shared it because its big. I did not particularly care about paella, the taste was off for me but maybe it's just me. Hence, the 4 stars. The blood sausage was unbelievably tasty. And the potato tapas were amazing. The house sangria was the bomb!

Yum. Delicious tapas. Everything from the meat & cheese board to the sea food to the cocktails. Everything was fantastic. The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing. The tables are small but food can be timed out perfectly. 3-4 tapas are perfect for 2 people.

This was an interesting experience. I'll start with the positive. The food and drinks were great. I especially liked the cheese on the Tabla Mixta and the Grilled Asparagus salad was delicious. The reason for four stars instead of five are as follows. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation and they hassled pretty much everyone about not having a reservation. We were there at lunch and the place wasn't even at half capacity the entire time we were there so maybe they were short staffed. We asked the host if the restaurant is named after the famous La Boca in Argentina (because we vacationed there once) and he didn't know. The service ended up being super slow, my sangria took forever to come out as did our food and my BF gave up trying to get a refill on his iced tea. The prices are steep for tapas. Luckily my BF wasn't too hungry so it was OK but at around $16 for a small plate, I can't imagine how expensive it could be with a large party of hungry people. Finally, they have one bathroom and I had to wait in an awkward line of three people (there's literally no place to form a line btw) right next to a table to use the restroom. All in all I would like to eat here again but I doubt my BF will.

The entire staff is friendly and warm. They gave amazing recommendations. The artichokes are good especially if you like goat cheese. I really was surprised by the New York strip sauce combinations (blue cheese and caramel), so delicious! The dessert was decadent and the cookies were a great addition.

I wasn't a fan of tapas before I ate here, but LA Boca won me over!

The cheese board alone was heaven, especially with the house made brandies cherries (seasonal). It was so good I couldn't photograph it before it was eaten!

The filet is succulent, croquettes delectable, tuna mild, vegetables sublime.

Literally ever did we ordered was exceptionally flavorful.

And the chocolate mousse!

Just a block from the plaza and one of the best meals you'll have in Santa Fe!

Nice little tapas bar in a cozy venue. We had the cheese board, shrimp, patatas bravas, and shrimp tacos, all were delicious but the cheese board was the standout considering the quality and quantity of meat and cheese on offer. The sangria was okay and my wife had a nonalcoholic strawberry spritz which she enjoyed. For dessert we had a vanilla tart with brandied cherries. Service was good but a little slow.

Warm, inviting restaurant serving a plentiful variety of delicious tapas. Dishes are beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients. Lovely cocktail and wine options. Great place to dine with family or friends.

What a meal and what an amazing staff! Just when we’d be about to ask for something they would already be two steps ahead of us!
Food was a 10+! The mushroom soup, spicy, rich, utterly delightful. We shared a number of dishes their potato dish and homemade sausage were fabulous.
Highly recommend a evening here!

What a beautiful experience coming to La Boca. We came to the first floor and then we were told to go to their additional location 🤔. Then we walked around the corner and the vibe is very Italian or Spanish. Excited and fun 🤩 right before coming into the restaurant. People all sat close and it felt warm vibrant. The Music was enchanting and fun. We highly recommend anyone going to Santa Fe New Mexico to check this place out.

Good place for Spanish inspired tapas. We really enjoyed the tacos with shrimp and pickled slaw on the side, would reorder that and the chicharones (deep fried little pork belly bites) in a heart beat. The rest of what we tried was good as well but I would skip the paella unless you’ve never tried paella or seriously craving it. Save the money for some of the other tasty small bites on the menu! The restaurant is extremely busy and rushed, people bumping into your elbow given the lack of space. Did not like how close the tables for 2 people were next to each other. With that said service was efficient and our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the wines and food on the menu.
